Het proces was fijn verlopen, we werden goed op de hoogte gehouden, toen bleek dat er veel belangstelling was, werd de strategie aangepast en met al ging het dus lekker snel.

You are received like a king. After signing an agreement, you become the slave of broker Rick Martens, who has forgotten all the agreements and promises made. And he also fails to follow through on them. If you point this out to Rick, you get a big mouth! We have been severely scammed! People, be careful!!

We ended up at Teer Castricum in September 2020 after we ourselves had selected a house, but could only buy it if we took a purchasing agent. Teer Castricum would take care of the further arrangements and get to work for us. In this way, we bought a house in Beverwijk in November 2020. Unfortunately, after more than 8 months, we were called by Teer Castricum saying that the bill from the purchasing agent (so their own bill) had not been paid by us. This is an amount of 2500 euros. This invoice should have been paid at the notary in November 2020, but it did not end up on the final settlement statement (Teer would arrange this for us). We expected, as stated in the contract with Teer, that there would be guidance at the notary and that the purchasing agent would at least thoroughly review the 'final settlement statement' before the transfer took place. Especially now we also had to sign at the notary due to corona and the purchasing agent could therefore not double-check at that moment. We heard nothing about anything missing from the statement and therefore signed. We find it disappointing that this fact did not come to light earlier, otherwise you would make different choices in your financial spending over 8 months. It is taken for granted that the full bill will be paid. After we started asking questions about this process, we received verbal apologies from the purchasing agent and the notary. The purchasing agent states that if it were his own business, he would have given a discount. Management of Teer does not agree with this. Because the discount cannot be given, a flower would be sent from Teer (so only after we indicated that we would write a review). Of course, we could also have seen ourselves that these costs were missing from the statement (that is what Rick also gave as another counter-argument to us), but as probably more home buyers know, a lot comes at you and you hire a purchasing agent precisely to take things out of your hands. We paid the bill under protest. A pity about this outcome.
