I am leaving this review to thank Jeffrey for his warm and helpful attitude. I called from Italy to view a property and honestly, I don't think he could have been more helpful.
Another employee of this company first promised us the property, and afterwards I called several times with one of their real estate agents to confirm the offer. We even discussed details about our documents and how we could register at the address. Although we were told to wait until the contract was finalized, we kept asking for updates because we received no information. Then, after waiting so long, we suddenly heard that we were 'not the only candidates'. When I asked how that was possible after all their confirmations, the real estate agent hung up. Afterwards, every time I tried to call back, I was immediately forwarded to voicemail. Their excuse for rejecting us was that I had called 'too often', while in fact I was only calling due to their complete lack of communication. The most shocking thing is that the real estate agent even tried to claim that we were 'not their clients' and that they had 'never promised us anything'. Yet, he admitted a few seconds later that the other employee who initially approached us had previously brought them many customers and that they worked together. If they cooperate, we as potential tenants have every right to expect correct information from both sides – and not be misled, ignored or disrespected. For clarity: I do not believe that the entire company is necessarily the problem – but this specific real estate agent, who collaborated with others, gave us false information, failed to provide updates, contradicted himself and ultimately behaved rudely and disrespectfully towards us as customers. This is unfair, manipulative and completely unprofessional. They wasted our time, made us false promises and left us in an even more difficult housing situation. If they treat people like this before a contract has even been signed, imagine the nightmare you would have to endure if you were actually a tenant and had real problems.
In the maintenance requests I made, De Bloois Vastgoed was almost completely absent. The worst violation occurred when the house in which I resided was sold and they handled the sales process. While I paid rent and services + management costs (their fee), they failed to transfer payments correctly and I was without internet for more than a month. If energy companies had stopped delivery after a failed payment, I would also have been without electricity and gas. They never acknowledged their share in this failure, did nothing to resolve the problem, and were rude via email. When I posted the first review on their previous Google location, they called my phone to remove it + emails, which was very inappropriate. Stay away.
Misschien wel de slechtste ervaring met een bepaalde medewerker. Nogmaals, ik denk niet dat het aan het bedrijf ligt, maar aan deze specifieke persoon, Jeffrey. Iedereen met wie we van hen hebben gesproken, was geweldig. Het voelde alsof die man ons leven expres moeilijk maakte om er plezier in te hebben. De verhuizing verliep soepel, maar God verhoede dat je hem tijdens zijn werkuren een vraag stelt. Mijn vriend en ik hebben onlangs een huis gekocht en wilden graag wat details uit het huurcontract verduidelijken. Die man was ongelooflijk, eerst helemaal geen hulp of medeleven. Hij raakte meteen geïrriteerd en begon tegen me te schreeuwen. Gelukkig kan ik mijn kalmte bewaren als een volwassene. Hierna nam mijn vriend contact met hem op, maar kreeg hij dezelfde vijandigheid te verduren, zonder goede reden. Overigens is de opzegtermijn 2 maanden in plaats van 1 (waar we in eerste instantie contact over probeerden te leggen). We wilden een vriend aanraden om de plek over te nemen, zodat we 2 maanden geen huur hoefden te betalen terwijl we verhuizen. PS dit alles hebben we voor hen geregeld. Ze hebben de verhuurder geholpen geen enkele maand huur te missen. Hoe dan ook, spoel door naar het moment dat het tijd is om onze borg te krijgen. VIER maanden heen en weer bellen met deze man die nergens komt. Let wel, de borg moet binnen maximaal 2 maanden worden terugbetaald. Uiteindelijk hebben we besloten om zelf contact op te nemen met de verhuurder, het duurde TWEE dagen om de borg terug te krijgen. Ik kan me niet voorstellen hoe hatelijk, onbehulpzaam en incapabel iemand kan zijn. Als je zijn naam ook maar hoort, ren dan alsjeblieft de andere kant op. Van wat mijn vriend en ik kunnen zien, leek hij ervan te genieten om het ons moeilijk te maken. Zulke mensen zouden niet moeten werken op een plek waar sociale vaardigheden een vereiste zijn.
