Fantastic real estate agency, collaborated with Van Silfhout and Hogetoorn Wereldmakelaars multiple times and every time it was really very pleasant, honest communication and they keep their promises. Last year we 'went rogue' once with a 'fast broker' and that cost us dearly; Van Silhout successfully took over the sale after terminating the collaboration. Communication was always fast and efficient, but not rushed. We would like to sincerely thank Jeroen and his team for this and will certainly recommend Van Silfhout for mediation regarding purchase and sale. In addition, Van Silfhout also acted as an intermediary for us in renting when we moved abroad. The service there was also reliable, fast, and efficient. The houses never remained vacant for long, and often there was even no vacancy between the different tenants. Even when we had a non-paying tenant once, Van Silfhout took decisive action. A small point of criticism concerns the security deposit. In our opinion, it has been returned completely too easily on several occasions, while there were damages that, in our opinion, could not all be attributed to normal daily use/wear and tear. Van Silfhout could have positioned itself more on the side of the landlord (after all, they are also the only party paying for this service). Therefore, one point deduction for mediation regarding rental. For rentals, we would certainly also recommend Van Silfhout despite this but with a note to pay attention to this.

He only emphasized what (in his opinion) was wrong with the property before giving his market-conform selling price. Called up 40 minutes after his departure to adjust the given value with + k. Because it then becomes very difficult to take someone seriously, we invited the 'Energetic Broker' from Delft for a definitive tax assessment report. He specifically mentioned all the positive features of the property and determined the value at + k (!) higher than S & H. Ultimately, the house was sold for + k above the value given by S & H. You can sometimes completely miss the mark, but with a property in the price category < , such a significant difference is at least bizarre to call.

First a normal, very pleasant introductory meeting. The real estate agent (and the rest of the office!) has knowledge of the subject matter, knows the building and the area, signals developments in the market, listens, and thinks along. So far, 2 women who don't come across well. Promising to seek answers to our questions, she calls with a vague and long story in which I am not listened to and did not receive an answer to our question. Then a vague answer to the second question that there certainly won't be a bridge, because it would be a very long one. It later turns out that several bridges are indeed being built. After a long time, finally an answer to the first question, but within 5 minutes an email is sent saying that it is not correct after all. Well, after 14 apologies, there is little trust left on our side. I certainly won't have my house sold through them. If this purchase goes ahead at all, because that’s also going badly with postponements before signing the contract.

Van Silfhout & Hogetoorn brokered the sale of our student house with us involved and treated us throughout the entire process like livestock that should just stay quiet in their pen and preferably not be there at all, which is only very difficult when everyone works from home due to corona. Furthermore, I have never experienced such poor communication; we were almost never informed in a timely manner that the realtor wanted to visit the house with visitors or photographer. Regardless of whether we knew or not if the realtor would come, he came anyway and entered our rooms, unlocking them. Also, many more photos appeared on funda for which we had not given permission. We have repeatedly requested that part of the photos with private information be blurred or removed but no attention was paid to this.

I had a very bad experience with this agency a few months ago. One day after the acceptance of my offer (of which I was told it's a yes/no offer because they already had other offers) and after I had the draft contract in hand, I received a call that they had received a higher bid and that I can buy the house if I increase my bid by 10k! Totally unprofessional. I don't think they are trustworthy and I wouldn't rely on their word.
