Very poor communication, or better said no communication with the real estate agent. Made an offer on a house, I was told that the deadline would be the following week and that I would immediately hear whether I had been selected or not. Ultimately waited 6 weeks and called them to ask about the status. Then I heard from the receptionist (who was very abrupt) that she would pass it on and she hung up. Only after 2 months did I receive a notification that the house had been sold.

Not recommended. Very unprofessional and deliberately misleading when it comes to maintenance issues of a property you might be interested in. They can perhaps sell new-build apartments, but preferably avoid anything that lasts longer or is larger. They will tell you that it is your responsibility to resolve all problems and take no responsibility once you have been misled and a 'deal' has been closed.
