I had a bad experience with this office in 2021. I received 'advice' about buying a house and a mortgage, but when things went wrong with the bank, they walked away from the problem. I am now in 2023 and have worked directly with the bank for my mortgage and had a positive experience. It just proves once again that you must be careful who you trust. Sorry for the negative words, but it was a negative experience!

We are an expat family with a six-figure salary. Our reputation is far from dubious. We went to view a property (2000 euros rent per month) and made an offer of 1900, although we were prepared to pay the full price (2000). Two days later, the price on Funda had dropped to 1800 without informing us. We had to chase after the real estate agent; she was unreachable. We had to personally walk to Onesta's office and apparently they had no idea about the new price. Our offer of 1900 was rejected and the real estate agent was 'surprised' by the new price on Funda. After two weeks, the apartment is still listed on Funda for 1800. How can this discrimination be explained???? Very unprofessional, a waste of our time, and the landlord loses money! Utterly disastrous!

Absolutely unprofessional. I had arranged a viewing with them, a week after contacting them for an apartment (although an earlier date would have been possible for me!). Subsequently, they cancelled the viewing one day prior because the apartment had already been rented out. How is it possible to rent out the apartment before all viewings are complete? I wasted my time on this real estate agency. And when I complained, I was told that it's not unprofessional 'but just how things work'. This company is a joke.

From the initial introduction to the actual sale of the apartment, we had a pleasant contact with the real estate agent (and all other employees), and the promised agreements were more than fulfilled. To name a few examples: correct analysis of the market and valuation of the property, proactively thinking along during the sales process itself, and additionally not reluctant to even take a look at the rental agreement of our new home. In short, we can wholeheartedly recommend Onesta Real Estate.

Through this real estate agency, I quickly rented a house in The Hague. Between searching for a house and picking up the keys took less than a week. It was a very satisfying experience!

By far the worst real estate agency my husband and I have ever dealt with in the Netherlands. It's been almost two weeks since we viewed an apartment that we liked and registered. Every time we called Onesta, they said there was no response from the landlord and that we would therefore have to wait. Last Friday, 10 days after viewing the relevant apartment, we sent them another email asking if they could kindly contact the landlord, as our time was indeed almost up and we might have other options to consider. Just a few minutes later, we received an arrogant 'no' from one of the brokers - K* (who was also present at the viewing), and I am quite certain that she did not really bother to contact the landlord, but simply decided to ignore us so that we would no longer insist - and that’s what we were doing, because we waited far too long and had to move as quickly as possible, haha. The apartment is of course still on their website. And even if it wasn't, if she wanted to prove how good their brokerage firm was, she could have told us about other apartments we could rent without losing clients. Since every expat probably realizes how difficult and stressful it is to find a home here, this agency could make it all even worse and you might have to wait endlessly and become enormously stressed. Any other agency would inform us within a few days, but this agency doesn't seem to do its job at all. We even asked our lawyer, and he found it uncomfortable to have to wait so long and advised us to look further if possible. There is also no update on their website, which shows how lazy, irresponsible and completely unprofessional the people are who 'work' there. I wouldn’t recommend it to any enemy.
