I had a bad experience with this company in 2021. I received “advice” about buying a house and for a mortgage, but when things went wrong with the bank, they walked away from the problem. It's 2023 now, I have worked directly with the bank for my mortgage and had a positive experience. This shows that you must be careful who you trust. Sorry for the negative words, but it was a negative experience!

We are an expat family with a six-figure salary. Our appearance is far from untrustworthy. We went to view a property (2000 euro monthly rent), made an offer of 1900, although we were prepared to pay the full price (2000). Two days later, the price on Funda had dropped to 1800,- without informing us. We had to chase the real estate agent, who was unavailable. I had to personally walk to the Onesta office and apparently they had no idea about the new price. Our offer of 1900 was rejected and the real estate agent was “surprised” by the new price on Funda. After two weeks, the apartment is still listed on Funda for 1800. How can this discrimination be explained???? Very unprofessional, we are wasting our time and losing money for the landlord! Utterly disastrous!

Absolutely unprofessional. I had an appointment with them to view a property, a week after I contacted them about an apartment (although an earlier date would have been possible for me!) Then they cancelled the viewing one day before it was supposed to take place because the property had been rented out. How is it possible to rent out the apartment before all viewings are completed? I simply wasted my time with this agency. And when I complained, I was told that it wasn't unprofessional 'but just how things work.' This company is a joke.

Onesta Real Estate guided us through the sales process of our apartment. From the initial introduction to the actual sale of the apartment, we had a pleasant contact with the real estate agent (and all other employees), and the promised agreements were more than fulfilled. To name a few examples: correct analysis of the market and valuation of the property, proactively thinking along during the sales process itself, and additionally not reluctant to even take a look at the rental agreement of our new home. In short, we can wholeheartedly recommend Onesta Real Estate.

By far the worst real estate agency my husband and I have dealt with in the Netherlands. It's been almost two weeks since we viewed an apartment that we liked and submitted an application, and every time we contacted Onesta they said there was no feedback from the landlord and that we should therefore wait. Last Friday, 10 days after viewing the aforementioned apartment, we sent them another email asking if they would be so kind as to contact the landlord, since we indeed have almost no more time and might have other options to look at. Just a few minutes later we received an arrogant NO from one of the agents - K* (who was also present at the viewing), and I am quite certain that she didn't really bother to contact the landlord, but simply decided to cross us out so that we wouldn’t be persistent – and we were persistent, mind you, because we had waited far too long and needed to move as quickly as possible LOL. The apartment is of course still available on their site. And even if it wasn't, if they wanted to prove how good an agency they run, she could have told us about other apartments that we could rent without losing customers. Because every expat is probably aware of how difficult and stressful it is to find a place here, this agency can make it all even worse and you can ultimately wait forever and get super stressed. Any other agency would let us know within a few days, but this agency doesn't seem to do its job at all. We even asked our lawyer and he found it difficult to have to wait so long and advised us to look further if possible. No updates on their website either, which all shows how lazy, irresponsible and extremely unprofessional the people are who 'work' there. Wouldn’t even recommend it to an enemy.

Onesta brokered the rental of our apartment for us.
