Honest, reliable real estate agency; occasionally had to drop the ball due to our agent's busy schedule but neatly resolved. Secretaries at the office, very friendly, punctual with notifications about appointments. It was the 2nd time for us that this agency sold a property. Handled with full satisfaction.

We were planning to buy a nice little farm in Elim from an old doctor. Beautiful place, friendly people etc. However, this was already over 12 years ago. Schelhaas came with the papers for signing and quickly turned the pages for a scribble. Probably with the hope that I wouldn't read something. However, I saw on one of the documents something about soil investigation with a result that should be in the attachment. 'Oh sir, they are all standard documents.' If someone says something like that, you really have to be careful. That attachment was missing for convenience and I also signed with the caveat that there would be nothing strange in that attachment. That attachment was sent a day later and it did indeed contain something worrying. Namely, that soil investigation had revealed that heavy metals were present in the ground. The farm was adjacent to a district filled with construction waste that was reclaimed in the 60s. This attempt at fraud keeps popping up in my thoughts every time I see the name Schelhaas. If I had trusted blindly and had cleaned up that soil, I would suffer significant damages. Every time I see the name Schelhaas, I have to think about it again. Maybe the company has improved in the meantime but I NEVER do business with them.

Special form of communication!! A young lady who assesses your house and casually mentions that you're 'grabbing land', without having delved into how it really is. Then another comment about the neighboring company where, in her opinion, we would have a lot of trouble!? In short: not well prepared and unsuitable as a sales party.

We have noticed that the personal guidance is somewhat limited. After a warm and enthusiastic intake, much is put into a digital process with the internal staff. We would have appreciated more personal advice and empathy.

He took the time and was well prepared. This also became clear from the collaboration that followed. With Mark Jan, the relationship is important; he was easily accessible and open to suggestions. We are dissatisfied with the contact with JIP Makelaars. During the purchase process of our home, where JIP Makelaars were the selling agents, we were confronted with poor and incomplete communication about the bidding procedure, behavior that suggested a lack of awareness of the protocols during the notarial transfer, and intimidating statements and actions when reporting a hidden defect. We experienced the agent's attitude as lacking transparency, - customer focus and - unprofessionalism. Thanks to our own efforts and legal advice – without any help from the selling agent – we were ultimately able to reach a settlement with the sellers themselves. This experience has damaged our trust in the real estate agency.

Viewing scheduled, only to hear at the door that the house had already been sold. Not very convenient and quite antisocial when you have to take time off work for this with two people.

Viewing scheduled. We call and the realtor tells us that the house was already sold last night. He apparently called me this morning with a voicemail once. My friend and I both took a few hours off work to view the house. I find it terrible that as a potential buyer you are simply dismissed and don't even wait for all bids to come in. Never again with JIP real estate agents!

Be very careful with this company, especially when it comes to appraisals. With my appraisal, they completely missed the mark. No sign of insight or interest was shown. The price difference between their appraisal and that of the selling broker amounted to as much as 60 thousand euros.
