Bought my first house, and with Marcel (DHVC) as a buyer's agent, this went smoothly. Viewings were quickly requested, good objective assessments of the houses, and advice on how to increase your chances. In my opinion, exactly what you need a buyer's agent for, and in my view, completely fine.

As a student, I've been well dressed by this company. They ask money for all sorts of nonsense; €60 for printing out a contract, unlawful mediation costs, unjustified retention of deposit and finally exceeding the legal standard of room prices. Positive: they did provide a landlord statement neatly and quickly upon request. @Eigenaar/Marcel; The fact that you can't find me in a database doesn't mean I'm painting a wrong picture or writing unfair reviews.

Terrible experience. DHVC managed our rental apartment for almost 3 years. They selected and chose the landlord themselves, who turned out to have financial problems just a few months later. They were enormously reactive in their attitude and took no action to help us out of this stressful situation. Only after we hired a lawyer ourselves did it become clear that they had not even fulfilled the legal obligations regarding payment arrears. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I rented an apartment from DHVC and am reasonably satisfied with it. During the time I lived there, they always responded to emails/calls in a clear and quick manner and problems were resolved quickly. Unfortunately, their communication was sometimes not ideal. For example, not communicating well that a huge ventilation unit (ugly, noisy) would be placed on my terrace for the restaurant below. Moreover, it took a few months too long before I received my deposit back, due to some delay in obtaining the costs for certain 'damage' they had reported. All in all, you could probably do much worse if you rent from another agency.

We had a very pleasant experience with DHVC Vastgoed. Due to their large network and reach (including the expat community), our house was shared with a wide audience and sold quickly. Their sales strategy, in which they also cleverly utilize digital channels, works well. The lines with the employees were short and communication flowed pleasantly. If I were to move again, I know where to go!

I would wholeheartedly recommend DHVC because of the way they treated me. I rented an apartment from them and after a week, I had to move for personal reasons. They quickly found a solution and replaced me with another tenant within 2 weeks. I was having a difficult time when I moved and the agent offered me his help. BAD company! charges service costs to both tenant and landlord which is prohibited by law. After sending official letters requesting reimbursement, they simply didn't respond. This company has just stolen over 900 euros from me in this way! Furthermore, they refused to return the key deposit when I went to hand in the keys. So they take money as a deposit but don't give it back! Scammers! Edit: There has indeed been contact with you via my lawyer. I still have all the emails saved. YOU charged service costs to both the letting and renting party. YOU are responsible for this, not the landlord. I see that I am not alone. Shame on you for acting like this now!

There are a number of nice and helpful people there. Like most brokers, however, the company favors the landlord over the tenant. If your business model is based on having landlords as your main clients and you are the intermediary, you must also take responsibility for non-cooperative landlords and dissatisfied tenants. We did the initial inspection and the final inspection with them: Although the markings on the photos were the same in both cases, the landlord wanted to repaint the wall and charged us the full deposit. DHVC said they could do nothing. Furthermore, miscommunication during the final inspection caused many problems.

Unfortunately, we had a negative experience with this real estate agency. We lost two bids. In one of them, we even placed the highest bid. And for the other, the agent gave us no feedback at all; the deadline was approaching, so we called the seller directly to find out that the property had already been sold a few days earlier. We didn't even have the chance to submit our offer. After that, the agent remained silent, no explanation, so we decided to proceed on our own. No feedback, no planning, poor communication and ultimately no purchase, only missed opportunities.

Very bad service, the building is inaccessible, employee arrogant, nobody ever comes when you have a fault, for 4 months the roof has been broken haha, luckily we are moving out of the disadvantaged neighborhood / building in 2 weeks, be careful !! Never call or email dhvc

NOT PROFESSIONAL ENOUGH: I am very disappointed with my experience. The staff did not communicate, so I had to wait weeks before I was confirmed that I could rent one of their studios. On the day of check-in, the agent was more than 3 hours late and without warning me: 3 hours not knowing whether I would get my studio or not while I had already paid. Then they didn't want to give me the contract in a language I understand (I am a French student and had to rent it for an internship): I still signed because someone from my surroundings was good enough to translate it. Thanks to him for doing the work of the office. They also didn't want to send me an invoice so that I can handle administrative formalities and at the same time proceed with the payment of my rent: is this normal? I had to ask at least 5 different people! And now that it is impossible to set a date for the inventory of the inventory, I am asked 'to leave the keys in the apartment, an agent will pick them up'. Do they lack professionalism or did they want to abuse a foreign student? update: it has been more than a month since I left the studio, they were supposed to return the deposit within four weeks (Dutch law + written in the rental agreement). DHVC rents out homes on behalf of the landlord and charges tenants costs. This is not allowed by law. I have had this experience with DHVC. DHVC also does not want to refund these costs. Are there any more people with this experience? Together we are stronger.
