Very helpful and everything was taken care of to the last detail

Completely unprofessional and unethical agency in the Netherlands/Eindhoven region - My friend lives in Almere and is visiting here. Is it ILLEGAL?! There is no temporary person to manage things in the studio, but outside, so everyone can switch. There are 4 tenants here. It's not my responsibility to constantly check. I spoke with the DNS installation team, which maintains this boiler. Water constantly leaks and we refill it daily. I showed it to them. They clearly said that the boiler needs to be replaced, but that can only happen if the owner pays for it. Furthermore, there are no separate meters for the 4 tenants, so who consumes more gas, water, and electricity? You cannot define that. Install 4 meters for 4 tenants to gain clarity. Tenants pay according to their own meter, problem solved. Moreover, my studio was hardly used in 2023 for 45 days because I travel a lot for work. Despite that, still an extra €1466 of gas, water and electricity costs on top of the rent? Is it my responsibility to clean up dirt and waste in the common area and backyard, as shown in the photos, for years? Does that make sense? - Be very careful when renting through this agency. You are always charged an extra amount without proof and no one will even adhere to professional etiquette to have a decent conversation. - And cleanliness, OMG 😳 😳, come see where I'm staying. I’m staying in a haunted house, full of dirt, broken outlets, cockroaches, insects, rats, spiders, a great view of the backyard, photos added. Damp walls, broken laminate floors are the icing on the cake. You could see snakes in my backyard. Absolutely unhygienic, see attached photos. - Lightcity Housing asks for tickets to be created for any problems, fine. You create tickets, without mentioning an SLA. Later it was suddenly closed with the comment 'well treated by the landlord' - while the landlord does absolutely nothing. So it’s a ping-pong game between the real estate agency and the landlord, and the tenant is the BAL 🏀 Here. - Increases rent at any time, without good explanation. - They don't speak a word, even when I repeatedly asked for a personal meeting - they just hung up, lack of professionalism and not even basic politeness to deal with tenants.

Worst real estate agency ever! They are too expensive, take advantage of expats and are cunning. They do everything they can to not fully pay your deposit. Stay away from them!!!

Very poor hospitality and an insulting manager. They spammed me several times without reason with an eviction notice and later called it a misunderstanding. The place is also not well maintained

As an expat, it was incredibly difficult for me to rent my own home, until a friend of mine referred me to Lightcity Housing. From the beginning of the process, I was pleasantly surprised by their professionalism. As a non-Dutch speaker, they helped me after checking in with transferring the utilities into my own name, and they were even kind enough to explain how I could take out the correct rental insurance. What an amateurish company, they are unfamiliar with regulations (AVG), dates unknown, they do call to say the rent is not in on the first while the rental agreement (which wasn't even signed by the other party) states a different date and as the cherry on top they don’t even have a copy of the rental agreement. Especially going into business with people like this guarantees that your interests, both as a tenant and landlord, will not be properly looked after. Purely a money-wasting entity which is a waste of your money.... 12-01-2024 Rent was paid on time so any outstanding rent amount is nonsense. I wouldn’t want to recognize myself in this either. Do your job properly or just stop doing it. Bothering people about something that hasn't even been paid yet. Should I start complaining about my deposit which I haven’t received yet? A bit nonsensical just like the response from you.

This agency has not respected the signed contract and still hasn't refunded my deposit three months after the termination of the rental agreement, despite numerous attempts to contact them. I rented an apartment through this real estate agency. It needed to be cleaned, they sent someone there after 5 days of someone having lived there to clean it, but that person didn't clean at all. They don't respond to your requests once they have handed over the keys.

Responded multiple times to their 'personal' offers, which I initially accepted, but each time the car was rejected the next day because the property was no longer available. I went to look and everything was empty. Scammers.
