The contact went as desired. Setting up the advertisement went well in consultation. After posting on funda, the property was sold after 4 days. There was discussion about the asking price. I wanted an asking price of € 390.000. The real estate agent wanted to ask € 375.000 and take this amount as a starting point as a start amount. Ultimately, this tactic proved correct. Dear visitor, I have been in contact with this broker regarding a property in Goor. A few days later, I conducted a viewing as agreed. The sale naturally took place via bidding, where everyone could submit an offer by a certain deadline. I submitted my bid by phone and was told it would be discussed with the owner; so far, everything went very smoothly. Until I was called back and abruptly told that my bid was not enough and that it was bad luck. I had offered to negotiate and asked if there were no options or if I could be told what the offer was for. Nothing could be said, only 'unfortunately and good luck'. I found this quite strange, so I did some further research. It turned out that this broker awarded the property to someone else for a few euros more; therefore, there was no fair process. This is of course unacceptable, especially in this overvalued housing market. For myself, I have decided not to do business with them anymore, unfortunately.
Here they have a lot of knowledge about everything within their area of expertise... and they kindly let the 'average' consumer enjoy that here...
