Unfortunately, not worth the stars anymore. The real estate agent came by to provide an estimate of the sale value. The agent had incorrectly noted the address and apparently stood in front of the wrong door. Here I got a message from his office only a quarter of an hour after the appointment time. Viewing the house ultimately still went ahead and it proceeded smoothly. However, afterwards no further messages/reports were received about the property, while this had been promised. After two weeks of calling the office, they said they would pass it on to the relevant person. Unfortunately another week passed and still nothing received. I don't need a real estate agent who doesn't keep to the agreements. A pity that it turned out this way. Not recommended.

It was a pleasure to be able to work with this real estate agency, first when buying my new place and then when selling the house where I lived for 49 years. The people I dealt with were sober and professional in their advice etcetera, but they also had all the understanding for the emotions that were also released. As said, a pleasure!

I quickly needed an appraisal report for the mortgage and wanted to pay €100 extra for completion within 5 working days. I called on the 6th working day, where the report remained, it turned out they were stuck because the house was still rented. It was unclear why they hadn't informed me about this earlier. I explained that the tenant had moved out a day later, but this wasn't sufficient. They weren't able to determine how much the house would be worth in an unrented state, but really needed to come by again to take 6 new photos. An appointment was not scheduled, I had to call back again. All in all, I had to wait 11 working days and call very often. I wouldn't have my valuation done here.

The sales guidance was in the hands of Harry Hisken, but working together with everyone in the office was very pleasant. Top team, I heartily recommend them.

I find Santen de Hoog bad at communication. Repeatedly no response is given to messages via email, whatsapp or move. Appointments made by phone are also not kept, the story is always different then. They constantly increase prices more and more. Don't think with you, it seems they only care about their own profit. My opinion. Read many more complaints in the reviews. Poor service!

Mike van Santen has been my purchasing broker twice and my selling broker once. I find him a very pleasant person: skilled and human. Interested in the story behind the wish and he deals respectfully with the realtor of the other party. The people I have had telephone contact with (from memory Mark, Lisanne and Lia) I have experienced as friendly, efficient and sharp. I've also dealt with Timo and Harrie and they are nice guys too. Photography and styling advice is also completely fine! Due to a death in my family, Van Santen picked up everything regarding the delivery of my home without complaint, with understanding and compassion. This was a relief for me. Thanks everyone!

After our offer was accepted, everything took an incredibly long time. After two weeks, we still hadn't received a correct draft purchase agreement. And then… we were called to say that a higher bid had been made. We had three-quarters of an hour to decide whether or not to go along with this. (...) Hereafter was my opinion about these circumstances, but I removed it under great pressure from the real estate agency.

Writing from the perspective of a tenant: the assessment at the request of my landlord was done quickly, but the company employee felt quite rude, without taking into account the fact that I will be living in the assessed apartment for a while longer. Here's an assessment carried out. Despite the lower apartment being a relatively simple assessment, it took longer than the promised 5-10 working days. After calling several times, various excuses were given that later turned out to be untrue (the report is with my colleague for review, we are waiting for NWWI etc.). Promises made, such as returning calls, are also not kept. You are not kept informed of the process, communication is below standard while the price is quite high. Not recommended for a smooth assessment.

My house in Groningen sold through this real estate agent. Expert, accommodating, flexible and with a sense of humor, the team of Mike and Timo helped us in recent months. Very happy with them! Called on Friday for nwwi appraisal. Already had the appraisal on Wednesday and was already called on Saturday with the value and that the report had been sent to NWWI. It was ready on Monday. Super super fast. Fast good service. Friendly appraiser and staff at the office. In terms of price, by far the cheapest but in terms of quality also in the top, in my opinion.

The appraisal could be scheduled quickly, which was very nice. I received a call before the appointment that the appraiser would arrive later than planned. He arrived 30 minutes later than agreed upon. The appraiser was friendly during the appraisal, nothing wrong with that. We were told we would receive the report no later than 10 days. Ultimately, it had to wait well over three weeks. Several times we called the office in between, where we were always promised that we would be informed of the status that same day, which never happened. Every time we had to chase after it ourselves to then receive the same message (: We don't know what the status is, we will inquire and call you back as soon as possible). Very disappointing. Ultimately, the involved appraiser contacted us. He also promised several times to inform us about the status and, for example, call us back the next morning. This was not followed up on either.

Scammers, good price appraisal until they have to carry out the assignment. Then things go completely wrong, they can't find a comparable house so they can't determine a proper value. They offer to withdraw the assignment but still send an invoice.. There are enough others, leave this company alone.

In October 2018, we had an appraisal done through van Santen de Hoog. Because this went very well and quickly, we also had them sell our house. This too went well with a quick sale and a good price as the result. Direct contact with the real estate agent via app and phone. Office always accessible. Appointments are kept and the price agreement was also competitive. In short, no reason not to work with van Santen de Hoog.

The appraisal took weeks to be completed. This takes too long when you need it for purchasing a house. Called multiple times to follow up. Holiday period was given as the reason. If you were aware of this, it might be wise to accept fewer assignments. Be clear about expectations, this waiting was quite frustrating.

Yesterday I had a viewing scheduled with Mike Van Santen de Hoog. Unfortunately, no one showed up, not even a phone call. Today I called the office to get an explanation] and I was supposed to receive a callback today. But unfortunately, even that was too much trouble; I wasn't called back. Due to the previously placed review, I was a bit hesitant to have an appraisal carried out here, but partly due to having by far the best price, I still made a request. I can only be more than satisfied with this. A little over a week after the request, I had a validated report in hand. Questions were answered quickly and clearly, and I was always treated kindly. I can only recommend it!

The appraisal took weeks, something you don't have time for when buying a house. They promised several times that it would be done, but they didn't do anything. After a reminder, it was suddenly ready in one day. Being too busy is no excuse; then you should take on less work.
