Open houses day..we already had a house in mind. So we went (with the whole family) to take a look. There, we were warmly welcomed by Marjolein and the residents. We walked around the house and meanwhile made an appointment for a 2nd viewing with the real estate agent, because we fell in love with this house. The 2nd viewing went very well. Everything was explained again thoroughly and Marjolein saw from us that we were mega enthusiastic. So then you submit a bid and wait until Friday to see if you got it. We were so nervous. I had sent Marjolein an app, after which she called me with the good news. The contact was very accessible. You could practically reach her 24/7. She is truly a people person. Very involved. With a heart of gold. Very clear in her communication and she helped us when we were stuck. A TOP real estate agent.

Marjolein is everything you could wish for when looking for a real estate agent. She is very involved, professional and honest. If you contact her, she is almost always immediately available or contacts you quickly. You only deal with her and she doesn't see your house as an object but sees its unique qualities. She recently sold our house and we recommend everyone to do business with her if you are looking for a real estate agent who goes that extra mile.

Marjolein guided us through both the sale of our house and the purchase of our new home (a process we were very apprehensive about). What characterized her during this period, besides her decisiveness, proximity, enormous expertise, was the personal way in which she offered tailored solutions. When purchasing the new property, she acted quickly, was extremely valuable during viewings, saw many things that we ourselves had not noticed in the heat of the moment, and asked questions that ultimately proved decisive in the choice of the sellers. During the sale, she knew how to reassure us in all areas: from the moment you have to open your own home to numerous strangers, to the hours when the right bid finally has to come in. With her, this was in good hands; she says what she will do and then does what she says, no empty promises, but the honest story. Exactly what we needed in a heated housing market where we had zero knowledge.

My experience with Joost from Makelaarsplein was frankly shocking. Where you expect professionalism, empathy and respect from a real estate agent, he showed exactly the opposite. Instead of properly addressing people who didn't get the house, he chose to laugh at them and mock them. This is not only unprofessional, but also downright disrespectful. Buying or renting a home is already an exciting and stressful process for many, and you expect a real estate agent to treat you with decency. Unfortunately, that was absolutely not the case here. I would advise everyone against doing business with Joost; there are plenty of other real estate agents who are honest and customer-focused.

My experience with Joost from Makelaarsplein was unfortunately anything but positive. Communication was difficult: appointments were not kept or rescheduled at the last minute, without clear explanation. This gave little confidence in the process. In addition, I missed a proactive attitude. During viewings, hardly any information was given about the property or its condition, and questions often remained unanswered or were dismissed with “you can figure that out yourself”. As a customer, you expect guidance and expertise in such an important process – which I did not experience here. Ultimately, it felt as if my interests as a buyer were barely taken seriously. I would therefore not recommend this real estate agent to others looking for an involved and expert party.

A very vague realtor. Offers something on Funda, responds immediately, I was the first; so I said if it is as it looks, then it's sold, okay I will schedule an appointment, I’ll call you back. She did that too, with the story that it had already been sold. Email sent, never received a reply.
