Unreliable experience: After making an opening bid of 2.5% below the asking price on Friday for the house, the real estate agent informed me that I would be called back on Monday with the response to the offer. On Tuesday afternoon, I was told that there were now several parties interested and that a higher bid had been received. Without giving me the opportunity later or on Monday to be able to make a higher bid. (Which I was prepared to do) And I was informed that negotiations would continue with this other party. Nothing more was negotiable and under the pretext of the seller's decision, I was dismissed.
