I moved out of a property in Hilversum, Simon Stevinweg 44. After waiting for a month for my deposit (which amounted to almost €2000), the landlord suddenly came up with ridiculous extra charges. Without any explanation or proof, charges were levied for tax and lock replacement. To this day I have not received any invoices or documentation that justifies these “costs”, but still € 500 was deducted from my deposit! I only received € 1500,- even though I left the apartment in perfect condition. This kind of behavior from the landlord, along with the total lack of support from Interhaus, is unacceptable. If you value your money, time and peace of mind: STAY AWAY FROM INTERHAUS!

All TVs gone, a desk is gone, a single mattress remained without a bed frame, etc. The communication from the real estate agency, interhouse, was not particularly ideal. If we report a defect, they say that no one has had that problem before. It's clear that none of the selling points were tested upon check-in. They also dismiss this as fundamental issues, despite advertising a furnished house. It is currently not recommended to rent with them as an agent if you want a smooth process. If anything improves in the next two years, I will change my review. If you still have to rent through them, document everything via email and force them to add additions to their check-in photos. Test every outlet and switch. And if they 'ask' if they can send someone, they are not asking and they have already been sent.
