‼️ AVOID INTERHAUS AT ALL COSTS! ‼️ I want to warn everyone about renting through Interhaus. My experience with them was a complete nightmare. I moved out of a property in Hilversum, Simon Stevinweg 44. After waiting for a month for my deposit (which amounted to almost € 2000), the landlord suddenly came up with a number of ridiculous extra charges. Without any explanation or proof, I was charged for taxes and replacement of locks. To this day, I have not received any invoices or documentation that justifies these 'costs', but € 500 was deducted from my deposit! I only received € 1500, while I had left the apartment in perfect condition. This kind of behavior from the landlord, combined with the total lack of support from Interhaus, is unacceptable. If you value your money, time and peace of mind, STAY AWAY FROM INTERHAUS!

What an incredibly bad experience with this real estate agency! They first make empty promises and give you hope, to then completely let you down with the most ridiculous excuses. Our joint income of €8000 per month was supposedly not enough security for a property of €2000 per month? Who do they actually think they are dealing with? This clearly feels like a lame excuse to reject us, while initially acting very enthusiastic to reel you in. On top of that, the employees are downright arrogant and disrespectful (Naomi Wallet 🤢). They are young girls who greatly overestimate themselves and clearly have no idea how to treat people properly. Their attitude was unprofessional and condescending from the beginning, as if they were better than their clients. The entire process was a waste of our time and energy. I strongly advise everyone not to work with this real estate agency. They are dishonest, untrustworthy and show that they have no respect for their customers. Please find another realtor who does understand what professionalism means.

We have moved to a furnished property 1) uncleaned (feces on the carpet that were removed with one carpet cleaning, broken toy pieces left in glassware and tableware, stacked papers and dirt left under furniture, feces in toilets, etc. (I could go on) 2) had broken appliances (washing machine/dryer not properly connected causing the floor to flood, freezer above broken, pond pump broken) 3) broken furniture (dressers completely unstable and tipping over/wobbly, shattered and cracked plates, glasses that cannot hold liquid, footstool springs are completely gone and cannot support any weight, stair carpet is not secured to the stairs, which causes slipping and safety issues, etc.) 4) the electricity didn't work (multiple outlets didn't work, the ventilation in the bathroom didn't work causing the alarm to go off after a warm shower) 5) had a poor handover (check-in photo showed 4 sets of keys, we had more than 50 keys without information or labels). We asked for instructions for the fireplace and were answered with 'wood'. 6) still had clutter left. We opened drawers and found broken sunglasses, hats that clearly hadn't been worn in years, Tupperware that didn't match, etc. 7) The items shown in both offering photos (which were taken before the last exit point we realized) and the inspection by our agent have changed, so the furnishing was not what we expected. All TVs gone, a desk is gone, a single mattress remained without a bed frame, etc. The communication from the real estate agency, interhouse, was not particularly ideal. If we report a defect, they say that no one has had that problem before. It's clear that none of the selling points were tested upon check-in. They also dismiss this as fundamental issues, despite advertising a furnished house. It is currently not recommended to rent with them as an agent if you want a smooth process. If anything improves in the next two years, I will change my review. If you still have to rent through them, document everything via email and force them to add additions to their check-in photos. Test every outlet and switch. And if they 'ask' if they can send someone, they are not asking and they have already been sent. That is quite annoying and a lack of respect for personal space and time.

They simply don't offer the services that are clearly advertised on their website. That is absolutely okay, but why provide misleading information and ignore potential customers? It requires knowledge, speed, and the right network to find and rent the right property. Even if you manage to find the right property, the process isn't over yet. How do you ensure that you get the property and how can you be sure that the proposed conditions and the included rental agreement are fair and correct?

worst experience ever! I left the house over a month ago and they continue to deduct money from my deposit for costs that I don’t even understand. The costs are enormous and there are no details and when I ask for details, they give no explanation. It seems like the landlord is trying to renovate his house with my deposit. I'm not even sure if I'll get my deposit back. I had to go to a police station, contact a lawyer, and then contact a bailiff. They keep sending me costs for a handyman that amount to less than €1000 for things he is going to repair while he could do it all at once in one day. And when I ask them for details, they tell me nothing; worst agency ever. be very careful, they will rob you!! and you never hear anything more about your deposit. As of today, I still receive invoices for 'handyman work' for 'various tasks' that each cost 300 euros and I don’t understand why he isn’t going to do it all at once. Never go to this agency, you will never get your money back. I asked them why the cleaning services cost 380 euros, while it is 35 euros/hour and legally you can't even have someone work for 10 hours... they remained vague about cat hair. that they had to take the sheets to a laundromat. huh....and that’s 380 euros....yes, and then they tried to make me pay for a mattress where I didn’t even sleep!!!! I asked them for photos before they couldn't provide them, so just stay away from it otherwise you will never get your money back.

Worst experience. We did not receive our deposit back after handing over the property. We are still waiting, for six months already. During the final inspection (before we left), the landlord kept pointing out defects in the property that were already there before we moved in. Interhouse had previously taken photos of the mentioned defects, but the owner did not believe those photos for some reason and Interhouse didn't help to resolve this. The landlord asked for an extra month’s rent, despite me having given him the agreed notice period of one month. When I explained the situation to Interhouse, they admitted that I was right, but later chose the landlord’s side anyway (of course, because he is their client). The landlord and Interhouse are in this together.

Simply well organized. Brokers think along with you, and take care of everything regarding a photo report, recording meter readings etc. Above all, they are honest, no shady back door dealings.

Very bad experience with this agency. The house was handed over dirty. No check was done before we received the keys. Also during checkout, we received confirmation from the insurance that the house had been extremely clean by us, after a month an amount was wrongly withheld after the house had been rented out via Airbnb. Never heard a reaction or apology from Interhouse.

Very bad experience as a tenant. We returned the apartment very clean, except that there was a very small black spot on the floor. It could have easily been removed by replacing the only affected wooden part. Instead, they let us believe that the floor was irreplaceable and even if it were, the replacement floor would have had a different color. They made us pay 750 euros for that. In general, they spoke to me several times as if I weren't a customer (with forceful words and a forceful tone). I do not recommend this agency to rent a property, definitely not.
