The staff of the office are so friendly and assertive in meeting my needs! They have provided me with the best solution for my accommodation on a beautiful and quiet place! I can wholeheartedly recommend both the office and the houses they offer!

tldr avoid if you can Overall, complete lack of competence. When I arrived, I received a key without any indication which room was mine - I had to wait an hour before someone came to me and checked all the rooms in front of my eyes. They always respond DAYS before they respond or don't respond at all (unless there is a viewing). Now that we’re on the subject, during the last week I stayed in the room they managed, they arranged a viewing with me for 11:30 am. They came an HOUR earlier and woke me up because I was sleeping in after my night shift. It goes without saying that it's been a week since I had the viewing and no one has contacted me about my deposit. In short, yet another realtor who doesn’t take their tenants seriously and takes advantage of the fact that the Netherlands has a severe housing crisis.

THEY ARE SCAMMERS Honesty and transparency are essential for a real estate agency, and EU-Realtors has that not. When I found a house through the office (October 2024), there was a lot of misleading and omission: I was told (by employee MARCELA) that I would get a private room and share a bathroom with three girls at the address Kanaalstraat 217 (for the price of €1200 per month). The way it was phrased did not take into account the fact that one of the girls was an older woman (probably in her 40s) with serious mental problems. The woman screamed (at herself or at me), threw objects against the wall that separated her bedroom from mine and threw my belongings away from the common areas, which she in her instability recognized as 'her space' and 'her home'. She played deafening music at night, with the sole purpose of irritating me. She did the same by turning on the vacuum cleaner in the middle of the night. She left obsessive notes in the bathroom where she talked about 'poop' and how she always found it everywhere, took photos of it and wanted to send them to the owner. She also wrote threateningly that she would throw us out and insult us with the worst curse words. Although I am not here to blame the real estate agency for the madness of this woman, EU-Realtors had previously received complaints about the situation. The real estate agency was fully aware of the untenable situation, as confirmed in messages, emails and personally. Tenants had already filed complaints with the real estate agency and contacted the municipality out of fear for this sick woman. The real estate agency even advised calling the police if the woman became too much and dangerous, but did not intervene themselves. This was not a safe environment to live in, let alone the extreme mental challenges. But EU-Realtors HAD TO rent out. They HAD TO make a profit. I decided together with the other tenant (the third girl mentioned above) to file a complaint. One of the employees, RHOKIA, tried to convince us with a condescending smile (I dare even say gaslighting) that the office had nothing to do with it and that we were exaggerating. All this without hiding the fact that they were all fully aware of the situation. I brought up that they had not responded to our (URGENT) emails for weeks. Her excuse? 'We are dealing with OTHER emergencies.' I really hope that if you consider this less important than other emergencies, your office is truly dysfunctional and completely incompetent. I was told: 'You cannot demand that we are accountable to you.' Yes, I can, Rhokia, this is your job. Naturally, I will demand that you respond quickly to my emergency situation. Since the office offered no solution, I demanded that they find another place for me. They said there were no places available. Until I called my lawyer. Then there were still plenty. DO A RENT CHECK! Another point about this office is that they are greedy. They provided me with a studio (November 2024) (where I fled to because I was homeless) at Bilitostraat 20e. I paid €1250 per month. Then I looked up the actual rent value of the house, which turned out to be around €400-500 per month. A third of what I paid. If you live with them, DO A RENT CHECK IMMEDIATELY. They have already noticed these scammers. However, since they are rather slow, I recommend you to call the Rent Commission and file a case with them. Another option is to report them to the municipality, which is quick and free. If you rent from them, I find it very bad, you are scammed. But with many reports we can prevent more people from being scammed and eventually these scammers will stop.
