She has once again managed to successfully sell a beautiful two-under-one-roof house in Houten-Oost. What truly sets her apart for us is the fact that she made everything as easy as possible for us. She is clear and friendly in her communication and relieved us of so many things, often taking initiative. Even when our administrative paperwork didn't go smoothly, she helped us get it done anyway. Denise is a real estate agent who truly thinks along with her clients and is incredibly flexible and extremely patient! In addition, she was very understanding of our situation and managed to facilitate this process for us in various ways. Despite the emotional burden, we can sell the house with peace of mind to very nice and respectful buyers. Which was really a plus for us. Here too, Denise listened and respected our wish. All in all, we can only conclude that Denise truly does this work with love, which is clearly reflected in the numbers. A nice extra was that drone images of the area were made, and that much work was taken out of our hands. For example: measuring the house was not entirely correct, the real estate agent arranged for us to ensure it was correct.

We always strive to conclude each rental period respectfully and transparently, even when there is disappointment regarding the handling of the deposit. 27 Oct 2025About a year ago, we moved from Van der Zaanstraat 1 3317WT Dordrecht. Melvin de Makelaar represented the homeowner and behaved very impolitely towards us, the tenants, during checkout. First, they were late for our checkout appointment and then they told us that we had to pay for a dirty oven. We asked for it to be cleaned, which was 20 minutes of work, but he refused. Later, he deducted €250 from our deposit. Very impolite behavior, I would never recommend this real estate agent. By the way, I later complained to the owner and got my money back.

The first time we were looking for a property in the Netherlands. We weren't even in the Netherlands when we did so. Melvin is a good listener. He listened to all our wishes and requirements, made a shortlist of houses that were on the market, and after the second (online) viewing, we had our first house in a new country. He also knows the market and all the details about it. That helps with the negotiation and bidding process. After living in a rental property for 1.5 years, we decided to buy a home of our own. We knew who to call. Melvin of course :) Here too, he listened carefully to us, gave good advice, and put us in contact with the right people (notary, mortgage advisor, technical inspection etc.). 17 Sep 2025I put my property in the higher segment in Hoef and Haag up for sale through Beumer Nieuwegein, but that turned out to be a big mistake. The house was initially priced too high. I then indicated myself that the price had to be lowered due to various reasons. Several months later, Beumer proposed lowering the asking price by more than one thousand euros (!) due to 'market conditions'. At the beginning, I was assured that there would be many viewings, but this turned out not to be the case at all. A requested viewing could only take place two weeks later because the real estate agent was on vacation. The secretary suggested doing it myself if necessary. For a property in this segment, I find this completely unprofessional. The presentation was also full of errors: for example, a sticker from another real estate agency visible on the photos, sloppiness in the sales text. Messages from interested parties were not or too late passed on. Moreover, every contact had to always come from my side. Despite me indicating multiple times that things needed to improve (and even having a conversation about it), there was no improvement at all. The entire process has been portrayed as better than it actually was right from the start. I therefore terminated the cooperation. For a property in this price segment, you expect expert advice, transparent communication and a professional approach. This is unfortunately not what I experienced with Beumer Nieuwegein. I cannot recommend this office.

02 Apr 2025Unskilled, unprofessional, and untransparent realtor. 1 star is still too much for this party. The day before yesterday, we had a very unpleasant experience with Eva Hoek, realtor at van Ekeren and Kuiper Culemborg. At 3:47 PM, we submitted an offer, and the bidding was to close at 4:00 PM. At 4:11 PM, I was called to say that we had the winning bid and that the house was ours. An hour later, I was called again with the message that someone else had still managed to submit another, higher bid precisely at 4:00 PM, with the offer coming in via email and through a different email address. Quite a very strange coincidence indeed. Incidentally, it is also odd that as a realtor you don't properly check your mailbox at 4:00 PM and before making people happy who have been searching for a home to buy for half a year. In short: be warned about this kind of practice because your highest bid is now worth nothing with the closing time of the bids.

Date unknownTerrible experience with this real estate agency. I was interested in a property that Reinerie put up for sale in IJsselstein. After an offer and then a higher offer, I was called by my purchasing agent. Congratulations, the bid has been accepted, the house is yours. Subsequently, everything was set in motion at the bank for financing. Then, after a few days, I was called back. Unfortunately, the party is off; a higher bid came in. Well, I wasn't up for this kind of games, you can figure it out yourself. Everyone is warned. Don’t cheer too early if this broker calls you with the message: congratulations, your offer on our client's property has been accepted. Don't fall for it! Additionally (after response from Reinerie): It's remarkable that Reinerie blames my purchasing agent, but that says everything about this real estate agency. Now I already knew that a verbal agreement is not legally binding. I don’t need a purchasing agent for that. So now I am to blame? So I shouldn’t have told my children, family and friends the good news yet? It seems to me this is about 'decency' and 'professionalism', and not about the ruling of the Supreme Court of December 9, 2011. Our purchasing agent has indicated that they rarely experience this. The task of a selling broker - as a professional party - is now precisely to avoid these kinds of unpleasant issues. After all, it’s not a Marketplace sale of an old sofa. With a lot of interest in a property, a 'sale by tender' is better for all parties involved. Reinerie has also broken their own glasses (and that of the client), because I had no desire to negotiate further. And I am leaving other properties from Reinerie on Funda alone.
