I have worked with multiple real estate agents before for viewings and that was always professional and pleasant. But with this realtor it wasn't a nice experience, due to his condescending attitude. He can’t look in my wallet to see how much I earn, but already had a negative attitude and spoke to me as if I were a criminal or something, while I have a respectable job with a high income. I am still furious when I think about this. If I'm going to buy a house, it definitely won’t be the houses that this realtor offers. Clearly a racist man who reacts out of envy. I want to give another realtor the commission.

I would prefer not to give this realtor any stars. If you happen to come across your dream house and see that Rob is selling it, look elsewhere. As a selling realtor, he's probably top-notch. But what a drama. Being ignored by him for weeks. Then excuses about going out with my back (he was walking quite well over Bisonspoor at the time and you don’t answer emails with your back). His mailbox that wasn’t working when he was on vacation (but he could still email saying it didn't work). He probably only let the previous residents of our house read the last email from us, in which we stated that we shouldn’t proceed with legal action?! Because they indicated that we weren’t very nice. They probably didn’t know that we had been constantly emailing and calling for 3 weeks. We also wanted to have the crawl space inspected but Rob said it wasn't necessary. Because there were no floors here. And we could look at our neighbors and across the street, because he had sold those houses too. Eventually, we did have an inspection carried out and what turned out; floor and 5 flooring sections that need to be repaired. What should have been a fun and exciting time was a tense and frustrating time.

My partner and I had a pleasant experience with Rob during two viewings in Maarssen. He honestly told us about a few things that weren't entirely clear regarding the property. The process up to and including the purchase of a home also went okay.

In the meantime, I had been searching for over a year, and after being outbid several times by €60,000 above my offer, my courage faltered. This realtor visited us for an appraisal and a no-obligation consultation. Although we indicated that we hadn't yet tidied up and there were still some things to be done before we wanted to start the sale, and the realtor stated that this was not a problem for the appointment, he didn't seem able to look past these issues and we got the feeling that he had little confidence in us. Where comparable houses were for sale at an asking price of €225,000, he indicated that we could put ours on the market for €213,000 and should be happy if we got €210,000 for it. We went with another realtor and put our house up for sale at the previously thought asking price. Our house was sold within a few days for more than this asking price.
