In 2014 I rented a house with the assistance of Alard van der Varst. He had this in his portfolio and it was a rental property. At that time, intermediary fees of 750 euros were charged, which according to the law is not allowed. I want this back and have proof of it. Mr. Alard van der Varst has been asked a few times to repay it but he is acting ignorant and says he no longer knows anything about it. That's how it works naturally. I want the 750 euros back and possibly with INTEREST!

Recently had contact with Alaard, spoke with my partner, the landlord was there as well and everything was discussed, had a very good conversation with the landlord. Everything turned out to be fine, we shook hands to rent a shed in Swalmen. Alaard was supposed to make contact the next day and have it signed, ID everything sent but it didn't happen. Alaard suddenly wanted us to pay him?? Explained that this doesn't work but came up with a solution so that he would still get paid. Unfortunately, Alaard didn't want this either and our time was very much wasted. Don't do business with this company, Alaard is after money and if he doesn't get it, the whole deal won't go through, knowing that the landlord has to pay him. I hope action is taken soon to stop such agents.

I absolutely disagree with the REQUIREMENT to pay brokerage fees to Alard van der Varst Stevensweert. It is commonly known that this is absolutely prohibited. Still, I had to PAY the monthly rent in cash 1X!!!

Mr. Van der Varst is extremely unreliable in fulfilling his agreements and payments. Willfully went bankrupt to fail on the agreed contracts. A disgrace for Christie's to allow such a franchisee within their network. Absolutely to be avoided office and person.

Alard was the point of contact for our complex. After sitting without heating for 8 months and without internet for 4 months, the boiler caught fire. Alard was nowhere to be reached. He also requested a 'contract costs' fee of €250 and insisted on receiving it in cash. Now quite clear for you as reader what you are dealing with.

Studio rented, Alard was the contact person. And showed me the building. Found via independent rental site, never agreed to hire a broker. After viewing, a contract within one day with 300 euro administration costs, no clarity as to what for. Everything paid in cash. In the year I lived there, Alard was never reachable. And there were all sorts of problems with the building. Takes no responsibility. Even his own hired receptionists say they constantly receive calls from angry people with similar problems. Terrible guy, no idea why people want to work with him.
