Erik Bessems does not measure the areas of the Sonnevijver houses and gardens. Subsequently, he covers himself with the official sales deed. Once you have signed, you can no longer hold Bessems or the notary liable. A tip for prospective buyers: measure the house and garden yourself before proceeding to the final purchase. Bessems is paid handsomely to sell the house but compulsory measurements as a real estate agent, he has no desire for that. Sad but true.

I still feel guilty about nominating this Bessems realtor regarding the sale of my mother's house in Kanne. Will de Jonge was enormously enthusiastic and really wanted to take charge of this sale. This turned out differently because Will de Jonge suddenly no longer worked for Bessems Realty the week after our commitment. What I find utterly scandalous is that we were never informed about this. Will was our point of contact, would represent us in the sale of my mother's house. Forgotten perhaps? We are not talking about a bag of candy but about a house. A bad start. After this, the entire sale unfolded into one big drama, a chain reaction of very poor communication and many mistakes, too many to mention. All in all, a very stressful experience for everyone, but especially for my 85-year-old mother. I would therefore certainly not recommend this realtor.

In recent years, I have used the services of Erik Bessems several times. Among other things, for the purchase of a commercial building, the sale of our home, and an NWWI appraisal. Always to my full satisfaction! Both Erik and his colleagues are clear and correct in their communication and demonstrate commitment throughout the entire process.

Would I recommend this broker? No definitely not! I would even strongly advise against this office to anyone who asks for my opinion. This agency was allowed to sell my mother's house in Belgium. Initially, we dealt with broker Wil de Jonge from Bessems agency who really wanted to sell the house for us. Due to his enthusiasm for the assignment, my mother chose Bessems. However, when I went to hand over the keys at the office for the first viewing, I was told that Mr. de Jonge no longer worked for Bessems agency. The agency did not inform us about this and they could not tell me which broker would take over Mr. de Jonge's duties. After some insistence on my part, I received an email address where I could go with my questions. I emailed and am still waiting for a response to this day..... On the day of the viewing, I myself went to wait in the building to see which broker would take on our assignment. From that moment on, Mr. Kornips was our broker but we missed the involvement, advice and expertise you would expect from a broker. And even at the time of transfer with the notary, our broker remained deficient....the energy label had not been forwarded and there was a file missing which we were unaware existed. We had requested prior to the transfer for completeness assessment of the file but also there the broker did not respond. The buyer's notary withheld 5000 euros from the purchase price until we could provide the file. A lot of stress for us and our 85-year-old mother, therefore. And from the broker no recognition for their mistakes, no empathy but a well-deserved generous commission. Even our ability to rate on funda has been blocked by Bessems which makes me wonder how much those laudatory reviews actually mean if you block negative feedback. I say in any case 'brokerage firm Erik Bessems?!' NEVER AGAIN!

Frank Kornips of Erik Bessems Makelaardij guided us super well with the sale of our mother's house. Everything is very good, clear and clearly arranged. The entire process went quickly and smoothly.

Low-threshold contact. A committed broker with a personal approach and good local knowledge. Initially, there was some noise on the line regarding communication and coordination during the sales process. Erik was very receptive to feedback and took action accordingly. This resulted in a smooth subsequent procedure. Very nice to experience! The sales file looked top notch. The sale was also completed positively. Financial advice was also obtained from financial advisor Ronald Kusters (of Erik Bessems Makelaardij). Excellent help from Ronald with expert advice, pleasant explanation, good coordination and perfect follow-up of made appointments. Top! I would definitely recommend this brokerage firm!

This office sold my mother's house. It has only brought her and us (the children) a lot of frustration. I could tell a very long story full of examples of sloppy or simply negligent actions from Bessems Makelaardij. Especially the attitude in this case from Bessems was experienced by us as very disappointing. And when you then want to share your experience on Funda, they also took away that possibility by disabling this function for us. Even more disappointing. If only they were so quick in communication. It is a pity that we had a contract because our trust quickly disappeared. I would therefore certainly not recommend this real estate agency.

Zeer tevreden over Erik en zijn team. We zijn heel goed geholpen en alles liep heel vloeiend! We werden super goed geïnformeerd en ze staan werkelijk dag en nacht voor je klaar als er vragen zijn. We zijn blij dat we voor Bessems Makelaardij hebben gekozen! En we kunnen het aan iedereen aanraden.

De medewerkers denken mee in het perspectief van de klant en informeren je goed. Kortom heel tevreden over Erik Bessems verzekeringen, een echte aanrader!

Midden februari een afspraak met dhr. Ronald Custers om de hypotheek over te sluiten ivm het verlopen van de rvp. Na een afspraak bij ons thuis en de opties doorgenomen te hebben zou dhr Custers ons een mail sturen met alle benodigde info. Na 1,5 maand! nog niets gehoord te hebben maar eens een whatsapp bericht gestuurd naar dhr Custers. Echter word dit bericht gewoon niet geopend (wel ontvangen). En horen wij niets meer. Tijdens het gesprek hadden we wel al een vermoeden dat het misschien wel te veel moeite voor hun (Bessems) zou zijn voor wat het maar zou opleveren. Echter zouden wij meerdere tientjes per maand kunnen besparen de komende 20 jaar.. We hebben zelf een andere adviseur in de hand genomen omdat het vertrouwen én de gun factor helemaal weg is bij Bessems makelaardij. Nu is alles naar volle tevredenheid opgelost. En dat op een redelijk kort termijn. Onze ervaring is dus zéér slecht en we kunnen en zullen Bessems dan ook zeker niet aanraden bij wie dan ook.

Wij , Jo en Myra Frijns zijn uiterst tevreden hoe de verkoop van ons huis is verlopen. Wij kunnen met een gerust hart Erik Bessems aan iedereen aanbevelen. Zijn kundige manier die warm en meelevend is hebben wij als zeer aangenaam ervaren.

We zijn zeer tevreden over Makelaardij Erik Bessems. We hadden Erik persoonlijk als makelaar en hij heeft zijn werk meer dan goed verricht.

Dhr. Bessems en zijn medewerkers hebben ons perfect geholpen en nog nooit zo'n goede service gehad. Aanrader als iemand zijn huis wil kopen of verkopen. Evenals voor de verzekeringen hebben wij een uitstekend advies gehad.

Vanuit Bessems makelaardij was Frank Kornips onze verkoopmakelaar. Onze eerdere positieve ervaringen met Frank heeft hij ook ditmaal weten te evenaren. Frank weet kennis van de markt te verbinden aan een persoonlijke benadering naar zowel ons als naar potentiele kopers. Gekoppeld aan het meer dan nakomen van gemaakte afspraken kijken wij terug op een zeer prettige samenwerking. Door bovenstaand hebben wij het verkooptraject als zorgeloos ervaren. Aan toekomstige klanten willen/kunnen wij Frank zeker aanbevelen.
