Ik ben een expat... Levent is fantastisch, geduldig, behulpzaam en ontzettend begripvol. Hij heeft me geholpen bij het vinden, onderhandelen en uiteindelijk huren van mijn droomhuis in Maastricht... en dat allemaal terwijl ik 8000 kilometer verderop in Los Angeles woonde. Toen ik besloot naar Maastricht te verhuizen, heb ik een paar andere makelaarskantoren gebeld voordat ik Zuyd vond. Vanaf het begin was Levent professioneel, behulpzaam en benaderbaar. Ik ben geen makkelijke klant en heb hoge verwachtingen, maar Levent heeft die ruimschoots overtroffen. Ik beveel hem zonder enige twijfel aan. Update: Levent heeft me geholpen bij het vinden en kopen van mijn nieuwe huis. Ik ben dolgelukkig. Hij is veruit de beste makelaar met wie ik ooit heb samengewerkt.

Beware of this realtor! Unjustifiably charged reporting costs of 484 euros. I contacted the realtor and repeatedly requested a description of the reporting costs. I never received an explanation. After promising legal action, I got the money back after almost 2 years without further explanation. Check whether this realtor has also charged you reporting costs and whether this was legal and be careful with these realtors.

I have come to a realistic price determination in consultation with the real estate agent and have further been taken care of by Suzanne, which was nice because I live quite far from Maastricht.

Let op met deze makelaar. Hij werkt samen met verhuurders en verkopers die huurders en kopers oplichten. Ik heb in een woning gewoond die zeer slecht werd onderhouden door de verhuurder en die ernstige gebreken vertoonde. De verhuurder (de heer Flip Buhler uit Meerssen) was erg onbeschoft tegenover zijn huurders en wilde geen geld uitgeven aan noodzakelijke reparaties. In plaats daarvan probeerde hij problemen zelf op een goedkope en kwalitatief slechte manier op te lossen. Zelf heb ik de woning altijd goed onderhouden en ben mijn afspraken nagekomen. Toen ik een andere woning had gevonden, heeft makelaar Houben schriftelijk bevestigd dat het appartement de eindinspectie had doorstaan en dat ik mijn waarborgsom zou terugkrijgen. Helaas heb ik deze nooit ontvangen. Zowel de heer Houben als de heer Buhler namen mijn telefoontjes niet meer aan toen ik informeerde naar de terugbetaling. Vervolgens kwam de verhuurder via WhatsApp met allerlei claims om de waarborgsom niet terug te hoeven betalen. Deze beschuldigingen waren overigens onjuist. De heer Houben gaf aan hier niets aan te kunnen doen. De appartementen in dit pand stonden te koop. In de advertentie werd onder meer vermeld dat het pand in 2016 was gerenoveerd, terwijl de woning tal van gebreken kende waar niets aan werd gedaan. Er waren zelfs ratten aanwezig in het pand. P.S. alle schimmel en vochtplekken op de foto's waren niet zichtbaar door aangebrachte verflagen toen ik het destijds kwam bezichtigen. Het heeft er ook altijd naar binnen geregend tijdens hevige buien, waar overigens ook niet veel aan werd gedaan. Wees voorzichtig met deze makelaar als u overweegt zaken met hem te doen. Als dhr. Houben een betrouwbare makelaar was geweest, dan was hij in deze situatie voor de huurder opgekomen. Dhr. Houben is in alle onrechtvaardige situaties met de verhuurder meegegaan. Nogmaals: let op. Een gewaarschuwd mens telt voor twee.

Houben delivers good quality. You get 'value for your money', professional service and always a timely response. Our house was sold in 2014, quite some time ago now, but we cherish good memories of this real estate agent, whom we can recommend.
