The appraiser ultimately compared the property with other properties and came up with an appraisal slightly lower than the purchase value. My mortgage advisor said that unfortunately they often encounter this type of appraiser, and that normally the purchase value becomes the appraisal value. All in all, the communication at the beginning was confusing and I didn't have a good feeling about it.

We have gained excellent experience with the appraisal of our house by Mr. De Jonge. He approached the inspection thoroughly and efficiently. The preparation of the certified appraisal report also proceeded very quickly. Within a little more than one day after the inspection, we already had it in our email. Recently, Makelaardij De Jonge conducted an appraisal of our home. The house visit went very smoothly. Within a short time, we received a very comprehensive and expert appraisal report.

No problems but also no real contact. The real estate agent and appraiser sort everything out together. All I had to do was give permission and pay. Maybe this is the new normal. I also found the appraisal low compared to neighbors who sold for 50,000 euros above the appraised value after renovations. We don't need any more but 2 under one roof after 50,000 renovations 390,000 value there I doubt it.
