They work together with real estate investors, RNC housing functions as a shield and takes the blows. The rules? They kick them aside. Please do not rent a house here. Do not do it, even if you're still in such a desperate situation.

Unbelievable how bad a real estate agency can be. They don't answer phone calls or emails. If they pick up the phone, they say: 'Please email us.' (Which they probably won't read). This real estate agency is only there to keep as much money as possible for the landlords and the agency. When I moved in, they said it was my responsibility to clean the room, and that I would live there, and not them. The only promises and agreements they can fulfill is to increase the rent by a certain percentage each year. Broken windows? RNC Wonen doesn't live there, so no problem. Landlord’s trash? No problem. Please throw it away, and we will eventually be grateful. The only thing that worked here (sometimes) was to keep bothering them to do their work, which doesn't always work if they ignore you.

Asking for 35 euros, with (among other things) this promise on the website: 'Unique approach: Our offer is fully tailored to your personal preferences.' Nothing of that is true, they don't know what I earn or what I am looking for. And they also don't bother to find out. I am simply allowed to respond to properties they have in stock. The property that could be suitable for me was long gone. Subsequently a difficult phone conversation. Ultimately, as far as I’m concerned, it’s a money grab! 1/5 because 0 stars is not possible.

To dare to ask for 35 euros to schedule a viewing while it's not even clear if the relevant property is still available. I heartily laughed at the message and happily clicked remove. Pauper company that would like to earn lots of money on the tight housing market, the many 1-star reviews say enough...

A company that doesn't keep to agreements. They can’t even deliver the house keys yet. I absolutely advise against it. Stay away.

It's that I have to fill in a star because they aren't even worth one star. Poor communication with the landlord, they don't keep their promises and are very difficult to reach. Waiting 7 weeks for your deposit while it should be handled within 4 weeks is not fair. Delivering half an apartment so the tenant has to make everything themselves and then not responding to any costs to fix this is very customer unfriendly! I would think twice before renting something from them.

Well, we are a couple who wanted to rent one apartment to lead a stable life there, and that's exactly what this company did. Especially thanks to Stefan, the person who showed us around. He even helped me on the weekend and everything went smoothly. So far I have no complaints about this company. Nevertheless, I will post updates if something is wrong with our experience. But for now, Stefan is a truly good professional.

Due to an unfortunate situation in my student house, a new landlord engaged RNC Wonen to rent out the property. To make as much money as possible from the vacant rooms, we were informed that migrant workers would be moving in. After always choosing roommates ourselves for years, this came as an unpleasant surprise. There was no room for consultation, because 'this is what the owner wants.' In addition, communication from RNC Wonen was deficient. We were hardly informed about the status of affairs and only told that the migrant workers would arrive at the beginning of November. Afterwards, it turned out to be mainly a way to get us out of the house faster – which they succeeded in doing – since the migrant workers ultimately did not arrive at the beginning of November. The migrant workers would not come until after our departure, because they wanted to renovate the house first. RNC Wonen showed serious negligence during this process and had absolutely no understanding for our situation.

Very positive experience with rnc living. I lived here for three years during my student years in the city center of Tilburg. For a good price, I had a spacious studio where everything was well maintained. You hardly see that anymore in the current housing market. They really give students a chance here, while other landlords almost don't give students a chance due to their extremely strict requirements, rnc living does. Also, the landlord would come by every so often to check if everything was alright. This really gives an impression of safety and trust.

If there was a -1 star option…. The lock on my door did lock, but wouldn't open from the inside anymore. I had to climb out through the window to get outside and open the door from the outside, otherwise it wouldn't have worked. After a year of calling and sending millions of emails, they finally resolved it. I moved here after renovations, but they left the sand behind for us to clean up ourselves. I still have the WhatsApp message from the worker telling me that I had to put it in a bag myself. After 2 months, I still haven't received my deposit back or an answer about it. Be careful. At RNC only the “owners” are important :)

I expressed interest, paid an entry fee, but the property turned out to have already been rented. After 3 months, according to them, the property is still for rent. I had a contact respond. He received the answer: first register and then you will receive information about the property. Conclusion... fraud. Nothing more.. nothing less. I wanted to file a report, unfortunately the police said it was a civil matter. Partly because the amount involved is small. MANY SMALL ONES.. MAKE A BIG ONE

They lure people into registering in their system for properties listed on their website that are no longer available. I enquired about a garage, which they claimed was for rent, and was asked to make an offer via their website. For this I had to create an account and pay for an annual subscription. After sending multiple offers, no one bothered to call me back. After I called, I was told that the offer had to be submitted via the website. They were pure scammers, so I would not recommend them.

After 4 years (almost 5) of living in a studio that RNC offered, with a room-in-contract, many things have happened, and the reaction of RNC was ALWAYS MINIMAL to avoid legal liability if the problems persisted. For example, they spent more than one and a half years to replace the shower in the house, which was defective and in very bad condition, and they only did it under pressure from the rental committee, whose contact information I recommend you keep at hand. A month after my move to another private rental apartment, Stefan from RNC sends me a WhatsApp message saying that he has a potential tenant for my studio and that he wants to come with him to view it. I answer that I work in the afternoon and am busy all week. I offer him next Monday. He says he will talk to me about it, and that's all. When I come home from work the same evening, I see that the doors of my studio are closed, which I absolutely never do. The next morning, my roommate tells me that two people were in my room while I was away yesterday afternoon. On the other hand, they also ask for money under the table from people in need who urgently need to move. Scammers, fraudulent, always on the dark side of the legal system. If you have options and value your privacy, DO NOT RENT FROM RNC.

I paid € 35 to view a property or contact them. Conclusion: the property disappeared after 3 days and is no longer available. Called and an e-mail sent. They still do nothing. I will visit them personally at the authorities soon...

Dear RNC Wonen Oisterwijk. In a time when no real estate agency would come to visit us, we immediately entered the office of RNC Wonen Oisterwijk and it took about 2 hours from entry until the moment we shook hands for a fantastic brand new apartment. Friday afternoon I entered their office and on Monday afternoon I got the keys. Hats off!

Worse than you could imagine. The time I rented from them was okay. If there were issues with the house itself, they were quickly “resolved”. Big and long-term (min. 1.5 years) hassle with roommates? Apparently, they can’t do anything about it themselves (even though they are responsible for it), so figure that out yourself. Certain things in the contract aren't fulfilled and when you call, there is never anyone who can do something for you. Big problems started when I moved out. After 2 months, I still hadn't received my deposit back. Multiple calls and texts but always heard a different excuse (we will forward it/the person who handles it is on vacation/something needs to be settled with the advance payments/etc.). It ultimately took 3 months before I got my own money back. Now they had transferred €30 too much, which I had to pay back. 2.5 weeks later, I suddenly received 2 invoices totaling min. €100,- (with a total of another €30 administration costs?) that I had to pay and was already past the deadline. It was an error and were invoices that apparently shouldn't have been sent.. So in short, a crappy company that doesn’t have their affairs in order. So many mistakes are made. You just have to pay everything neatly as quickly as possible but when they have to transfer something, they take their time and you get a lot of hassle and headaches. Only start this if you are prepared to undertake legal action.

Unfortunately, it's not a fair company. There were many problems with them. They even failed to comply with their own contract a few times. Only incompetent people work here. They should revise the legislation and then think wisely.

Not worthy of a star! To view just 1 studio, you already have to pay a mandatory registration fee of 35 euros. And you don't even get the property in the end! Scammers!!!!

RNC acts as an intermediary between real estate investors and complaining tenants, so that the investors do not have to deal with it. Tip for tenants: If RNC does not respond (which will not happen), then write an official complaint directly to the owner (ask the housekeeper or look up the address details of the person to whom you pay your rent by entering the name in the search function on https://www.kvk.nl/nl/). You will immediately notice a change in attitude. Do not get discouraged if you feel like an expat who does not know how it works. Whether it is about the reimbursement of heating advance payments, returning the deposit, replacing worn-out furniture that they say you cannot remove, water leakage, etc.: RNC's behavior is unethical and you must stand up for your rights. Good luck, I wish all RNC tenants the best.

Onethisch, illegal and incompetent. Three words that perfectly describe this office. I will not go into detail, but my contract has been violated in almost every possible way by the landlord and the bureau covers for him. When I try to contact them, they always send me the same e-mail, as if they are stupid. ONETHISCH EN HEBZUCHTIG!

They did not perform the service despite payment. That feels like fraud. In summer 2022, I paid €35 for a subscription. In return, I only received one viewing of a studio. I wanted to rent it, but they changed the start date. The answer regarding other studios within two months was always 'not available'. No response to requests for reimbursement.

After much deliberation, I have decided to write this review anyway. This company is truly the most negligent company I have ever dealt with. After repeatedly contacting them via email and by phone, I am consistently ignored. If it were to stop there, that would still be somewhat acceptable, however, this company comes with peculiar bills that they cannot explain. When you refuse to pay these bills for valid reasons, they can suddenly contact you. Last year around Christmas (2022), the house where I live with several students was without power in the kitchen for a month. As a result, we were unable to use the refrigerator, hob, extractor hood and lighting. After about 60 times, and no, I am not exaggerating the number unfortunately, they finally sent an electrician. It's always the same story with this company, the person who is responsible for these 'issues' just happens to be unavailable. In addition, they routinely ask you to send an email with the problems you are experiencing. It would then also be very nice if this company actually responded to these emails. I have so many more stories about this worthless company. A prime example of not caring about your customers and running a business purely for profit. Hi RNC, should you read this. Working with Rnc for several years now, handling rentals and other matters, for my student accommodation, everything always on time and as agreed, no vacancy either, all perfectly arranged.

Thieves and liars. RemcoAarts, Christelkoning, brit Iersel, Corinnemertz and Britneyvan herk all recognize scammers and thieves who do not pay back your deposit. You promise in black and white that you will do so and yet give nothing back!! They steal, deceive and are criminals. Meanwhile they steal more money from other tenants because the Huurcommissie, Fraudehelpdesk, pararius and consumer union do not intervene. Nothing is as dangerous as criminals who are ignored and thus released to continue their criminal activities.

The fixation on me by the man living above me has never stopped. He still harasses me. Deliberately stomping hard on the floor above me where I am exactly under him when he hears me talking, jumping in front of my bedroom door from the stairs, running on the stairs at night. Still thudding with weights. Daily between 4 or 5 am until midnight or later. Running up and down the stairs. Everything is very audible even with the best hearing protection in. No sound insulation because the landlord finds it expensive. Cars are clearly audible, a roommate who whispers, people in the shop below. Not possible. Sleeping with/without the weather is not working. The property is not suitable for habitation, let alone for so many people and especially not for weights and running on the stairs. The peace that tenants pay for and have a right to simply does not exist in this way. Almost no sleep, headaches all day and illness as a result. Worrying about that intimidating East Blocker who in a nicely wooden house above me is walking around with weights stamping and thudding, even at night. Abuse. It's pointless that I'm the only one who always walks on socks extra softly, in principle trying to be almost completely quiet with nearly everything, so I stopped that. Therefore they didn't hear me walking earlier, I made extra effort. It's very easy to wear socks and not stomp, not intimidate others, the fact that these East Blockers do it is because they don't want to. Talking is pointless, they know better but refuse. I've also heard others walk quietly into their rooms for maintenance. The stomping is therefore proven to be deliberate and unnecessary. Moreover, no one goes about with weights in a wooden rental house. Also after the landlord spoke to the East Blockers they keep doing it. Pure intent and abuse of me thereby. In the meantime I've already spent more than two hundred euros looking for other living space but living space is still occupied/I wasn't chosen. The contract states that the living space is for one person. Deceit, there's simply already reserved a group that dominates and those are the East Blockers. From day one they were nuisance and with way too many here living in violation of the contract. It's their kitchen, their fridge, their washing machine and their dryer. This is simply their house. The landlord said that the man with weights/intimidation had stopped. That he would talk to him. That's not a permanent solution. They are behavioral problems. You can't change them. No social/normal type walks around intimidating, standing in the dark for a long time in front of my door, preventing others from resting and using what they pay for, following them around because he doesn't want you to touch the heating etc. My life is being thoroughly obstructed here. I'm now already coming out more expensive per month due to unforeseen costs. Also because of the mental burden with these people with behavioral problems demands a heavy toll. I'm burdened with their problems, dependent on them I can only rest for a while. Every day I have to wait until those East Blockers above me are finally quiet and not stomping/thudding, shouting in the stairwell/running. Visits would be reported 24 hours in advance. The landlord comes himself into a tenant's room who explicitly doesn't want that because he isn't home. No cleaning service, defects, power and light outages. Landlord with groups of strangers and excuses on your room. Forces himself upon you also if you're sick or have to work, the contract doesn't match reality. The East Blockers live as if they're kings. Other residents may not rent in groups, but they can. Extremely long search for good living space and reliable landlord, difficult to find, expensive, lots of energy invested. It's bad I would never in my life have gone there had I known this. This is misleading, the landlord knew that he would let me suffer under the wishes of these East Blockers who he carries on his hands. The perpetrators: Brit van Iersel, Britney van Herk, Sanne, C.Mertz, Christel Koning and Remco Aarts.

I strongly advise against the services of this company, especially not for students. I was one of the students who unfortunately had a room managed by them. I lived in a house that was wrongly advertised as a student house. However, there were also non-students. Although there was a zero-tolerance policy for drugs in the house, these tenants were often under the influence. One of them became aggressive multiple times. I asked for help several times, but no one did anything. There were multiple things broken in the house, such as a washing machine and a dryer. We also had a leak in the roof. The dryer was never repaired, it took months and when I moved out, so I don't know how it is now. The same goes for the leak. We asked for a repair, especially because it happened in winter and the heating costs went up because the house couldn't retain heat. Again, no one did anything, and the roof was only repaired after weeks of literally begging for help. Finally, after I moved out, I had to fight for my deposit. I received it long after the due date. The real estate office told me that I couldn't contact them about the deposit because they weren't responsible for it. And the landlord said that I shouldn't contact her either, because RNC is indeed responsible for the money. I was so scared and stressed that I would never see my deposit again. I even hired a lawyer and sent them the official letters which could lead to a lawsuit if they misled me. My entire rental experience was terrible. I was ignored, the rules kept changing and were completely not transparent. For example, I was told that I had to keep a three-month notice period to move out, while the law says that I can only have one. They also asked, during the time when heating costs were skyrocketing, every resident to pay an extra 25 euros per month. I was only willing to do that after I had seen the heating costs. The real estate office never sent me one and I asked for it weeks ago. They constantly ignored my phone calls and emails about this and all other matters. I'm still just a student, this was my very first rental experience and these people have taken advantage of that. I had to hire a lawyer to constantly check if I was being scammed. The lawyer said that the way these people paid the bills (and still haven't paid) indeed didn't make sense. I have not received my full deposit, part of it was written off due to 'heating costs', while I haven't seen all the official bills. It's terrible that this company is so bad that they decide to take advantage of young, inexperienced people.
