It would have been nice if we had received clearer tips in advance regarding the handover of our sold house. We acted to the best of our knowledge, but apparently that was not sufficient. It has led to a very annoying handover. Legally speaking, the buyers had no standing with their sudden demands, but at the moment itself we were cornered. Smedema wanted nothing to do with our criticism. That the list of items from the office was incorrect on three (!) occasions, was extremely sloppy. It's a good thing that after this transaction we left the region. Smedema thinks highly of himself.

Piet is a very experienced and pleasant real estate agent who handles difficult situations and people well. Everything went quickly and professionally. The cooperation was relaxed and positive. I chose this office for three reasons initially. We live near the Dutch border and I wanted to put my house on the market in both countries. Moreover, I had imagined that as a buyer I would very much like to buy a house from someone like Piet. And finally, the real estate commission in the Netherlands is only half that in Germany, which is simply a nice bonus.
