Wednesday 25 Sept called for viewing appointment, this really couldn't happen any sooner than Monday 30 Sept. Not a problem in itself because I was told the house was available! meaning: so no verbal or written agreements with third parties.. Suddenly I was called on Saturday the 28th of September by Bauke that the house we wanted to view had been sold???!! After asking Bauke a few questions, it turned out that a viewing had been scheduled in between (who also had submitted a bid). All this while we absolutely couldn't have gone until Monday the 30th?! I got the strong impression that my questions were not appreciated.. the only thing I heard was, what do you want to hear from me?, and what do you want me to say? Emailed regarding a house, asking whether negotiations with a buyer had already started or if nothing concrete had been agreed upon. I received a reply email with the response: “Thank you for your viewing request, we will discuss with the owner when we can schedule this.” I then emailed back — no response. Subsequently, I called and explained the situation; “You will be called back today, sir.” You already guess it: I’m still waiting for that phone call. Meanwhile, the house is now up for bidding… Conclusion: if I ever wanted to sell my house, I certainly would not approach this real estate agent. And if you are selling your house through this party, I hope they do their best for you.

Very disappointing and unprofessional experience I had serious interest in a property that was for sale through this real estate agent. Everything seemed to be going well: I neatly made an appointment for a viewing and looked forward to viewing the property and possibly making a bid. To my great surprise, however, I was called before I could even view the property that it had been sold. No opportunity to still make an offer, no fair chance, absolutely nothing. Why viewings were even scheduled if the property was already (almost) gone is a mystery to me. This not only feels disrespectful towards interested buyers, but is also particularly unprofessional and opaque. If there is already a deal in the making, be honest about that. Otherwise, give everyone an equal chance. In short: a worthless way of working that inspires little confidence. I certainly would not recommend this real estate agent.
