This real estate agency is the WORST real estate agency I have ever dealt with. The selling realtor did not perform due diligence on the property, which involved unpaid utility bills related to the termination of the contract before I bought the apartment. Furthermore, they said they would remove the old furniture from the apartment, but they didn't - all attempts to contact the selling realtor were futile. This is a disgrace for a real estate agent.
Very unpleasant experience. We have just purchased an apartment through Riva, but items were missing from the house that were listed in the contract when the keys were handed over. Repair work has never been carried out and there has been no follow-up for more than 3 months. There is absolutely no quality guarantee with this agency for the purchase of the house, very disappointing.
WHAT YOU DO, DON'T GO TO SEA WITH THIS BROKER!!! Long story short: Very bad experience with Riva Rentals as a broker — unprofessional, misleading and negligent. As long as things go well, there is nothing wrong, as soon as things go wrong you won’t be able to rely on them. Simply scandalous. The long story: We rented out our apartment through Riva to two tenants. From the beginning we expected Riva to act professionally as an intermediary, but that was disappointing in every respect. In fact, we had “red flags” from the start. Trust your intuition and don't work with them. Not even as a tenant. When the tenants violated several contractual obligations (illegal subletting, nuisance, damage, unauthorized registration), we repeatedly reported this to Riva with evidence. Instead of taking this seriously, Riva repeatedly failed to respond or only provided vague feedback without action. Except when we sent a serious legal email. Suddenly we received a response that they had tried everything without providing any substantiation. We, on the other hand, still have all the evidence, should we need it in the future. What makes it even worse is that Riva gave the tenants incorrect advice. For example, they were referred to the rental committee for a deposit issue, while the rental committee does not have jurisdiction over deposit matters. They were also told that they were “fully entitled” — a statement that is legally completely incorrect and now leaves us with the consequences. In addition, we reported that the tenants had a third person registered at our address without our permission — something explicitly in conflict with the rental agreement. Riva did nothing about this, while the municipality of Rotterdam has since confirmed this registration. The lack of action or protection towards us as landlords is frankly shocking. Due to these incorrect advices and their passive attitude, we are now facing significant damage, legal repercussions and mental stress. Riva has not taken any responsibility, while as an intermediary they do have a responsibility to properly guide this type of process. They only want the benefits without the burdens. We feel completely let down. It is just that we ourselves are legally knowledgeable, otherwise we would probably be in even more trouble due to their lack of knowledge and their one-sided attitude towards the tenants. Based on our experience, we strongly advise against Riva Rentals. Also see Riva's response to the various negative reviews. That says enough...

I had a viewing for an apartment that was being offered for sale through Riva real estate agents. The agent said they would send some more information. Since then I have not heard from them and my emails are not being answered. Yesterday, I received a notification via Funda that the apartment has been sold. Very unprofessional to not let me know anything anymore. Edit: After posting my review, they contacted me, which I do find sporty. Apparently there was a misunderstanding about whether they would let me know or if I was interested, or if they would send me something first and I would then indicate my interest, and my emails didn't arrive properly for some reason.
Had no real experience, but only 1 hour before our appointment we were asked to come 15 minutes earlier, but we couldn't make it and arrived 10 minutes late. The agent showed no respect and emphasized with an angry face that we were late and that he can only open the door and immediately close it again because he has to leave and asks if we want to proceed. Our answer was naturally 'No, thank you'. I expected more professional behavior from a broker. (I am adding the following to the owner's response): I think you just repeated my story and there was no exaggeration. My only problem was the way he offered the solution (it was hardly a solution, but simply angrily emphasized that we won’t see much.) Furthermore, 'you kindly asked' us to be 15 minutes early just one hour before the appointment. I wonder why your agent didn’t politely cancel the appointment OR 'Kindly ask the next client to wait 15 minutes. It's a matter of manners.'

Riva sent an agent to us. After a meeting with us on September 6th, where we made agreements, he never contacted us again. After repeatedly trying to contact him in vain, we tried to call RIVA - which is also almost impossible to reach RIVA by phone. Shocked, we realized that this agent no longer works for RIVA. We cannot cooperate with an agency that treats clients this way!!!!!! Not recommended!

Ben has often moved in the past 15 years. I always received words with the realtor. 2 months ago, I bought a house from Riva. At that time we met Roland. He managed to bring appointments, service and quality to the max. This had to be rewarded. I went to the office with a cake. There's a highly motivated team in a very warm living room-like setting. ....very nicely done, you immediately feel at home. When I got home, my girlfriend asked me how it was at Riva...I said good, we are going to move again soon.
