Nice photos, also made with a drone, and a nice description. Worked together in a group app with his colleague/friend Mienke at the office and us. Everything went very smoothly and clearly. It was certainly his enthusiasm that made our house sold within a week (!). Nothing but praise for that. We had only one point of criticism which we personally discussed with them (not related to the sale itself) and they responded well to that.

I have 2 house viewings scheduled on the same day with the same realtor. Unfortunately, I had to explain the situation that I needed a home as quickly as possible. And if a bid were to be made and accepted, that I would go for that house. Of course, it's not nice of me that I didn't cancel. But how the realtor reacted is extremely surprising. Apparently, I am worthless and an enormous *fill in yourself* that I treat the person this way. My apologies that I did not cancel. That’s because I forgot. We sent an email on Thursday, February 27th, requesting a viewing. We heard nothing until today, Wednesday, March 5th, and saw that it had been sold. Not nice to inform us.

I called this office more than 10 days ago to ask for contact. It was promised that someone would call back, but I never heard anything. My colleague also tried to call, but got no response either. It is particularly unfortunate that a real estate office wanting to sell properties is barely reachable. The lady at the reception was furthermore not helpful and seemed not to know how to deal with customers. Instead of listening, she tried to turn the situation around, which only made the conversation more frustrating. Based on my experience, I strongly advise against doing business with this office. You are better off selling your property yourself – the chance that you get results faster seems greater to me. The score of 3.5 stars actually says enough: apparently I am not the only one with this experience.

A string of 'oops-moments' that you rather wouldn't have when buying a house. A small glimpse into our trick box: • Mathematics is an opinion: The purchase price in the deed didn't match. When we pointed this out, we were asked what we thought they should do. (Tip: Maybe filling in the correct numbers?) • Privacy? Which privacy?: Our complete purchase deed including all our personal data was sent without hesitation to a stranger. AVG-proof? Definitely not. Sloppy? Absolutely. • The disappearing solar panels: There were 24 on Funda, but there turned out to be 22 on the roof. Apparently, solar panels at Smolders are like socks in the washing machine: a few always go missing. • The charging station lottery: In the advertisement it said 'present', but when signing, it turned out to be 'to be transferred'. A small detail, just like the fact that they promise to respond within a week to complaints, but then keep radio silence. As soon as the signature is there, every problem suddenly becomes your problem. At this office you don't just get a house, but also a free course on 'how do I check someone else's work'. Conclusion: Do you have steel nerves and like to take advertisement texts with a large pinch of salt? Then you're in the right place.
