After having good contact in 2022 about an apartment (which we ultimately did not buy), we didn't break off communication with Daniël. We have asked him his opinion a few times about several properties. He was pleasantly honest and critical in that regard. Two qualities that we appreciate in a real estate agent. Our hope for a nice purchase apartment in Utrecht city has now faded. That certainly isn’t due to Daniël, but rather the crazy housing market in Utrecht. Still, we maintain contact with him because who knows, someday, when you least expect it.

What do you write about a real estate agent who has already earned their stripes. Driven & no-nonsense brokerage that knows the market very well, that thinks along with the seller but also pays attention to the buyer. Our house was sold for a good price with attention to both parties. Everything went according to plan! First, Daniël calmly and openly discussed what the possibilities were, the expected yield and costs. In short, no surprises afterwards and excellent communication throughout the entire process. By sheer coincidence, I ended up with Jonkers Vastgoed, but I immediately got a very good feeling about Daniel. Besides the standard reasons why I would choose a real estate agent, such as well-founded advice, sharp negotiation, and taking care of administrative hassle, the personal attention of a small agency stood out above all else. Much more important to me than the reputation of a large agency. You don't do a sales process every day, and it’s nice if someone is always available and can give you confidence with a thoughtful approach when you face surprises, such as the coronavirus crisis after we had just set everything in motion. Among other things, based on Daniel’s advice, we decided to continue anyway, which turned out to be no wrong choice afterwards. Ultimately, the purchase came about at an accelerated pace above expectations on a Friday evening late into the night, when most real estate agents have already switched on their voicemail. The further settlement also proceeded flawlessly. In short: I would recommend this agent to everyone!
