I have now worked twice with Robin to find apartments, in 2013 and 2025, and both experiences were excellent. He responds quickly, is efficient, and knows the market clearly.

We had a very pleasant experience with this real estate agency. We rented our apartment in Utrecht and their mediation went as smoothly as you wish. Robin helped us with everything.

We have had a great experience with VGW from the beginning. The viewing was well organized and communicated, responses were quick, and the portals for submitting the required documents were simple and intuitive. If you are selected for viewings, the communication is excellent. Also during the move. However, after that, the communication changes completely. Unanswered emails and the refund of the deposit took more than 30 days. I only received the deposit back after referring to a lawyer. The 5-star reviews are also from people who have just moved out. They ask you for a review in exchange for a discount at a restaurant.

I have been working with VGW since 2016 as a landlord of several apartments in Utrecht. Robin, Damian and Max always provide professional assistance in finding suitable tenants and the handover. I recently moved to the Far East and am confident that they will (continue) to serve me and my tenants well.

EDIT: Unfortunately, they accused us of damaging things in the apartment to withhold our deposit - which was not true and later admitted. Subsequently, they retained a significant amount from our deposit for cleaning, despite their colleague having marked the apartment as 'clean' after our departure. SCAMMERS USE NO YOUR FAULT.

This is not a good group to work with. They ask you for money to register, but they are unreachable by phone and do not respond to your emails. It's even impossible to arrange a viewing with them.

I had a good experience with VGW, who quickly responded to my questions. They processed my application, viewed the property, and made a quick offer. I found a nice and cozy apartment in a fantastic neighborhood of Utrecht and can wholeheartedly recommend their services.

The customer service is a disaster. They don't even answer emails or messages on Airbnb. I have asked multiple times for information about availability, but received absolutely no response. This is the worst rental experience ever.

They are unhelpful, inattentive and it is so difficult to contact them. I paid 20 euros for their subscription, but I couldn't log in and use my subscription. I emailed them, but they didn't help me. Don't give your money to these people.
