He can’t look in my wallet to see how much I earn, but already had a negative attitude and spoke to me as if I were a criminal or something, while I have a respectable job with a high income. I would prefer not to give this realtor any stars. If you happen to come across your dream house and see that Rob is selling it, look elsewhere. As a selling realtor, he's probably top-notch. But what a drama. Being ignored by him for weeks. Then excuses about going out with my back (he was walking quite well over Bisonspoor at the time and you don’t answer emails with your back). His mailbox that wasn’t working when he was on vacation (but he could still email saying it didn't work). He probably only let the previous residents of our house read the last email from us, in which we stated that we shouldn’t proceed with legal action?! Because they indicated that we weren’t very nice. They probably didn’t know that we had been constantly emailing and calling for 3 weeks. We also wanted to have the crawl space inspected but Rob said it wasn't necessary. Because there were no floors here. And we could look at our neighbors and across the street, because he had sold those houses too. Eventually, we did have an inspection carried out and what turned out; floor and 5 flooring sections that need to be repaired. What should have been a fun and exciting time was a tense and frustrating time.

My experience as a potential buyer: not great. Viewing almost a favor and limited to 15 minutes. Waiting outside until the previous viewers are finished, and then the next viewers are already waiting behind you. Inside a young man who didn't know how to tell anything and also didn't bother to show the property and VVE facilities further. So I had to explore on my own before that. Okay, the market may be overheated and this is very efficient and possibly pleasant if you have this realtor as seller. So.. it’s a buyer’s perspective.

Frustrated! That's the best way I can describe my personal experience with Brockhoff Makelaars. I have been trying to rent a property from Brockhoff for two weeks. I found a property, created an IDD profile and submitted the available documents. Then everything started to become confusing... Brockhoff asked for documents that were not available, such as an income statement (IB60), an extract from the Basic Administration (BBA), a declaration from the landlord... Come on, I moved to Amsterdam 20 days ago, how do you expect me to have such documents? But I did provide the following: BSN number, bank account number, copy of identity document (residence permit), two payslips, a statement from the candidate, an employer's declaration with gross salary,... Eventually I heard that 'it is better to rent from a private landlord...' Just frustrated.
