Mr. E. Klijn sold a property to us last July 2024. After the independent valuation, it turned out that he had calculated 19m2 more living space than actually exists. The absence of an official measurement report shows his lack of expertise and professionalism. Additionally, there is also an incorrect construction year mentioned, and in reality, the boiler is 30 years older than stated! Mr. Klijn has not taken responsibility for this or sought a solution. This ultimately became a lengthy procedure with the disciplinary committee where we were proven right and Mr. Klijn received an official reprimand in the register. The compensation for damages will now have to be pursued through the courts. I am therefore warned and will not go into business with this real estate agent.
