From beginning to end our real estate agent was incredible. She did everything to get us the apartment. This office is the correct address if you want to buy/sell/or rent a place. They are professional and they do not treat you like a client, they act like a partner in the process.

The broker accused her client of not being fully aware of the water damage to a property. However, she was aware of the permits he had applied for, which apparently caused the investigation that led to the water damage. We rented an apartment from 2021 to 2024 via Broersma Makelaardij in Amsterdam. Initially, the process went smoothly: our landlord worked with a realtor named Florence, who efficiently helped us in the apartment. However, when it was time to move, the experience completely turned around. Florence and the landlord were unprofessional, withheld important information, and made it clear that we would not receive help in recovering our deposit of € 5.500, despite having returned the apartment in good condition after 3.5 years. Shortly after we moved out, we heard that Florence had left Broersma Makelaardij for unknown reasons... When we contacted others at Broersma Makelaardij to get help obtaining proof of the repairs that supposedly justified the withholding of our full deposit, they were dismissive and unwilling to help. Despite presenting themselves as a high-end real estate agency, they showed no interest in ensuring fair treatment of all parties involved in a rental agreement, including tenants. Their refusal to contact the landlord and request documentation of repair costs left us with no choice but to hire an attorney and take legal action directly against the landlord. If you are considering renting through Broersma Makelaardij as a tenant, I would think long and hard about it. Although they initially appear professional, they offer no support when it really matters.

very bad experience - tap of our bathroom left open during viewing - a lot of damage due to moisture and then an arrogant attitude and lying. The reaction from the owner says enough. To complete the picture: icicles hung from the windowsill due to condensation while it was winter. All painting work has to be done, a lot of moisture in our hallway and on the walls. And then as a response that this is annoying for us??? And then mentioning the amount of money in the reaction? Do you think everything will be alright with money? No, that's not how it works: No apologies and denial initially. I had to drive myself to your office to discuss this and I can tell you that the atmosphere was bleak and your willingness to help was far to be found.
