Everything went smoothly through consultation, adequate response to the market and pleasant collaboration. Knowledge and expertise are very good, so that everyone (sellers as well as buyers) know what they are dealing with.

The sale of our house went smoothly, but the mortgage brokerage proved disastrous. Poor and unprofessional advice, and the financial advice turned out to be incorrect. For example, they stated in black and white that the annuity-free mortgage was 100% deductible. This causes the overviews to be incorrect. To this day, we regret our new mortgage because the old one seemed much more favorable. Our new mortgage advisor calls it shoddy work. Atsma takes zero responsibility and refers to the real estate agent who is no longer with them. Unfortunately, not recommended.

We hebben vorig jaar de diensten van dit bedrijf gebruikt om een ​​huis te kopen. We wilden de ondersteuning van een makelaar en ook van een financieel adviseur voor de hypotheek. Tijdens onze eerste afspraak bespraken we een paar dingen, met name de locatie/regio/stad, een specifiek energielabel (A of B) en, heel belangrijk, dat het huis niet onder een vliegroute zou liggen. De eerste opties die de makelaar ons liet zien, voldeden niet aan de energielabels (het waren E, F en G). Daarna bleef het een tijdje stil totdat we een appartement in Haarlem vonden dat ons wel aansprak. De makelaar regelde snel een afspraak en we gingen samen kijken. We hebben het appartement gezien, het beviel ons, het lag op de gewenste locatie, binnen ons budget en had het juiste energielabel. We hebben de vliegroute meerdere keren mondeling genoemd en we hebben ook een e-mail gestuurd met de vraag om meer informatie over dat specifieke gebied (een e-mail die onbeantwoord is gebleven). Toen wij er waren, vlogen er geen vliegtuigen over, er was geen lawaai - we waren tevreden. De makelaar deed namens ons een bod, zoals afgesproken, en we hebben uiteindelijk het contract getekend. Sinds we er wonen, leven we in een nachtmerrie, omdat deze buurt daadwerkelijk onder een vliegroute ligt. Hoewel ik een deel van de verantwoordelijkheid voor deze situatie erken, ben ik er oprecht van overtuigd dat onze belangen niet goed zijn behartigd.

Unfriendly, UNreliable and INcompetent. Via Nationale Taxatie Service (NTS) we had an appraisal carried out. This appraisal was performed by Roy Harmsen of real estate agency Atsma. Roy was inside for approximately 20 minutes and that same afternoon we received the appraisal report. This report was full of major errors. The living space was incorrect (bedroom and storage room not included), the value of comparable properties was inaccurate, the extension 'was forgotten', etcetera. The appraised market value was even lower than our WOZ value. After a phone call with Roy ('I will take another look') and his boss Henk ('I will ask Roy to call you back'), it remained silent. And nothing happened. After a week we contacted NTS and pointed out what was wrong. They came back with a response from Roy: 'I made mistakes, I will correct this but I am not adjusting the market value, I’m sticking to that'. If we had a 2nd opinion carried out which was more than 10% higher, we could get our money back from NTS. We had a second appraisal carried out and it was 20% higher than what Roy indicated. Roy did not keep any of his promises because the incorrect report was also never adjusted. If you pay €525 for a report, you should at least expect serious work to be done... but not with Roy. It seemed to us as if he doesn't enjoy his job, customers don’t matter to him, the quality of his work doesn’t matter either, but only his income is important. Never again Atsma for us.
