It all started well when we moved from abroad. The house we rented was old with a few problems that I resolved with the owner. After we moved in and had paid a full year's rent in advance, FCH never contacted us to see if everything was okay. No problem for me. Now comes the moving and key handover… I dealt with Jaimy, which was ‘wrong’ from the moment I opened the door. During the final inspection, ALL checks were marked green BUT the house wasn't professionally cleaned, just like the house wasn't professionally cleaned when we moved in. I was rudely told that I had signed for it….from 5000 km away. I then received a cleaning cost of €1440. To make a long story short (now that I have my deposit on my account) the house was professionally cleaned for €300 via a fantastic cleaning company called Ready to Clean. Tip: be sure to take photos of EVERYTHING when you collect the keys from the house!!! When you sign the contract, you are signing for a professionally cleaned house. Do not sign if you think it is not clean and have a professional come and check it for you!! We were 5000 km away when we signed the contract. The owner of the house was fantastic, too bad FCH wasn't. I am ultimately the one who pays their fee. When you move out, I strongly recommend having the property cleaned by Ready to Clean. Mention First Class Housing and they will know what to do. Do this BEFORE the final inspection!! Don’t accept that FCH arranges a “professional thorough cleaning”, as you will lose a large portion, if not the entire deposit!!

My personal experience is really bad! NEVER SEEN SUCH AN UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE AGENT BEFORE! Steph is extremely impolite and doesn't want to give details unless asked multiple times! Even when it comes to returning deposits, they cheat and mention problems that occurred during the handover. Be very careful if you deal with her, and make sure all photos are clear! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!

Nice real estate agency with good service!

Very good service, from initial advice to contract extensions. First Class Housing helped me as a newcomer in the rental market. They helped me rent out my house and provided me with excellent tenants. Even after the tenants moved into the house, FCH continued to give me advice when needed.

Through this brokerage agency, we rented a house in Amstelveen. Mrs. Chagall was the realtor who represented the owner of the house from this company. Firstly, we had to pay a very high rent for a house that had quite deteriorated and had many broken parts. Due to a housing shortage in Amstelveen, we made concessions on the quality of the home. We had the worst experience with Mrs. Chagall during settlement after we had lived in this house for 3.5 years. During settlement, even household items that were broken upon check-in were charged to our account for repair and very high repair costs were listed. We absolutely did not agree with such high repair costs. Mrs. Chagall ensured that even the smallest speck of dust on a household item ended up on our bill and the costs were charged. Despite several requests, our full deposit of 7900 euros was withheld by Mrs. Chagall. We felt completely cheated because it was our hard-earned money. I would strongly suggest avoiding this agency, in particular Mrs. Chagall, because they are only there to turn renters off. We lived at De Pauwentuin 28 in Amstelveen.

My partner and I rented an apartment through the First Class Housing Agency and that was a great experience from the first meeting to the day we moved in. Jaimy did the work in the best possible way and believe me, if she gives you her word, you can be sure that this word costs a million! The entire team made the rental experience beautiful and clear, answered all our questions and helped with organizing other things like utilities, internet and TV. We are now so happy in our house thanks to First Class Housing!

We had an incredible experience with Jaimy, who did her utmost to help us find the perfect apartment. She is a realtor like no other and finds it important that tenant, rental property, and landlord are a good fit for each other. The only reason we didn't give 5 stars is that communication needs to be improved - Romy told us different things during check-in and via email, and had to be reminded several times to answer emails and provide the necessary documentation, which was disappointing given a very different experience with Jaimy.

First Class Housing was very helpful in finding an apartment and also with check-in. The reason I didn't give 5 stars has to do with check-out. The owner charged me extra costs that were not listed in the check-out report. I believe that the owner should not charge for items that are not mentioned in the check-out report. I understand that Agents represent the owner, but there must be an agreement between them. It is not good that the owner does not trust the agent and charges extra costs to the customer. To make a long story short: the check-out procedure was not good and needs to be improved

The worst agency in Amsterdam. All their competitors can provide you with all the information by phone. If you call First Class Housing, they only say 'no telephone consultation, send us an email'. And guess what? They never answer your emails.
