I rented an apartment through Koops real estate agency. They were always very professional and transparent. The few times I needed help, she or the landlord contacted me immediately. Very professional and friendly during check-in and check-out. Absolutely recommended!

The apartment we viewed had the same layout as the apartment on the website but was of significantly lower quality. The modern white kitchen with built-in appliances and glass shower cubicle that appeared in the photos actually didn't exist. Instead, there was a dirty, impoverished kitchen with mismatched freestanding appliances of poor quality and a moldy shower with a shower curtain. The requested rent would already have been on the higher side for the apartment shown in the photos, but it was completely disproportionate to the actual apartment. These people should be ashamed of misleading potential tenants in this way.

Almost drove off the road in Amstelveen by a car from Koops with a passenger wearing a hat behind the wheel. Tailgating, overtaking on the right, signaling, it wasn't unfamiliar to him :(

Indecent people

Just asked at the office that's located 20 meters further down if they could please park the car neatly or move it away from the senior citizens' apartment building. My grandma now had to expire. I received a large mouth from the realtor and he leaves the car standing as is. This isn't the first time and we are not pleased with the improper standing in our way.

If you are a landlord, I can wholeheartedly recommend Koops Makelaardij. They will be very happy to deceive their tenants to keep their landlords satisfied. Our bad experience with Koops as tenants began even before we had actually moved in. We had signed the contract and made preparations to move. But about a week before we were supposed to move in, they called us to tell us that the landlord wanted to double the deposit. This is a terrible 'mistake', as it was intended to be a long-term tenant with them. By that time, we could do nothing more. Everything was booked and ready to leave, we just had to accept and pay it. But it was when it came to checking out the property that the big problem occurred. The landlord wanted new windows in the upstairs bedroom, so during checkout they tried to claim there was visible damage. I couldn't see anything, and the Koops representative also couldn’t see anything and explained to the landlord that nothing could be seen and nothing could be claimed. I think they thought I didn’t understand what they were saying in Dutch... So the representative wrote nothing down (because there was no damage) and took a single general photo of the area. When it came to signing the checkout form, I signed first, then the landlord picked up the pen and wrote the extra 'damage' to the window frame and then signed it. To cut a long story short: we eventually sued the landlord, but most shocking was that Koops Makelaardij sent a written testimony to the court in which they lied about everything that had happened and lied that the extra fictitious damage to the window frame was added to the form after I had signed it. So if you are a ruthless landlord and looking for an equally notorious real estate agent, I can wholeheartedly recommend these guys.
