Ultimately, I left this situation, and the owners they represented withheld cleaning costs, despite Amstel Vastgoed writing in the report that the apartment was perfectly clean. Essentially, they represent people who hope to profit from the ignorance of foreigners to make quick money. Despicable.

Scam! Warning!! Hey guys, be careful with this agency!! They scammed me and my wife and didn't return the guarantee. Their target group are expats because it is much easier to deceive, not only scamming with money, but without any commission at the beginning, the expensive apartments deviate and they keep a part of the money monthly from those who rent , and give maybe 50% of the payment to the owner. For example, if there is a small apartment for €3000, then the actual value is probably €1500, and they keep the rest monthly, plus the guarantee that they don't return. Instead of fighting in court with Dutch people, it’s easier to scam new expats. So please be careful!
