If you are an expat, do NOT consider working with these real estate agents. I rarely feel compelled to write reviews about negative experiences. Usually, I dismiss them, but from the first second of my initial contact, I knew this wouldn't be a pleasant experience. I initially called to view a property I wanted to buy. I was immediately received hostilely, and got questions and a general attitude of: well, you are an expat, so I don’t think it is something for you. I was asked to provide the details of my buying agent because they preferred to work with my agent rather than with me (the buyer). I requested supporting documents regarding the property to perform my due diligence and check the maintenance history, soil survey, etc. Those are very routine matters. They didn’t want to send them to me and instead insinuated that if I was concerned about possible repairs to the building, I shouldn't seriously consider buying it. Be aware that as an expat you will be treated with reluctance and prejudice during the purchase/sale process or when requesting a viewing.
