I was enormously helped by Thom and Sarah. Not normal how well they do their job. From the very first moment of contact I felt seriously taken and understood. Where many real estate agents give you the feeling that you are “one of the many”, Thom and Sarah exactly knew what I needed and took all the time to answer my questions, no matter how small or complicated. Throughout the entire process they were incredibly involved. Thom took me step by step through everything that needed to happen, without difficult jargon or hassle. He actively thought along, gave honest advice (even if that wasn't necessarily the easiest advice), and made sure I knew exactly where I was at. That gave peace of mind and trust. Tom or Thom called me and made a threatening comment that he would come to my house because I had posted something on social media in which I questioned the reasonableness of the rent price of one of his rental properties on Sportstraat in Amsterdam, based on an estimation of the maximum reasonable rent price / Rent Check. After I had rejected him by phone, Thom said: 'I know where you live, let's go' and then hung up. Thom acted as if he knew nothing in the subsequent WhatsApp conversation and made a homophobic comment, but when he realized that I had recorded the conversation, his attitude became defensive and he accused me of being rude on the phone. I do not recommend anyone to do business with this man. If you rent from him, check the rent price carefully on the website of the Rent Commission.
