Had a nice first conversation with Mr. van de Wiel senior, and based on that, we decided to have der Wiel sell our house. But then it went from a good feeling to a very bad feeling; nothing was discussed anymore about bidding deadlines etc. We addressed this to der Wiel junior, and the only answer we constantly received was 'that's how we work, that's how we work.' From us, a resounding fail, and we will never do business with them again.

I sold my house through Van der Wiel Real Estate Agency. Last Friday they carried out the final inspection in my absence. Until today I have not heard anything about this. A simple message like: Everything went well - the buyers are at the notary - would have been sufficient. Unfortunately, it is characteristic of the entire process. There were regular viewings, but I never received feedback on how these had gone. When I decided to check in myself, I immediately got the suggestion thrown at me - 'My proposal is to drop the price'. There weren't many more ideas. Later around a bid, there was again little initiative. I decided to throw the ball up myself to make a counter offer. The subsequent reporting from Van der Wiel was very focused on selling the house as quickly as possible. Quickly collect the commission and move on - that’s how it seemed. On the front end, Van der Wiel seemed like a good choice to me, but afterwards this turned out to be disappointing. I would not recommend them.

This is now an organization in the person of Jan Verdoold whom I can wholeheartedly recommend. Expertly prepared to listen, requested and unsolicited advice. But above all, there were some outstanding issues in the application, not due to our fault, but contact is made by Jan himself to give the status. Compliments, the expectation is not that we will do business weekly :) but I know one thing for sure. If something comes along in your area of expertise, you are the first person I will ask.
