I had engaged Mathieu Paul to prepare a valuation report for my property. He had forgotten to take photos of the attic and asked me if I could do that. Since I had to pay € 800.00 for this report, I thought a discount would be appropriate. He was able to offer a € 20.00 discount. For that amount, I thought it better that he come take the photos himself, and he did so after first threatening to return the assignment. This wasn't an option, I think, because VOF Huurlingsedam was the client, not myself. When he came to take these two photos, he still wanted to know why I couldn’t do it myself, that he always likes to be in good contact with people and always tries not to overdo the valuation. Now? Communication from both real estate agents is very difficult. There was supposed to be an agreement between seller and buyer, which unfortunately means the property is no longer available. Half a month later, I was called and it turned out that viewings were suddenly being planned again and the situation was re-evaluated. I received absolutely no notification about this, even though interest in the property had been clearly expressed. Requested to email the brochure and documents for the property, promised, never received. Expressed interest in another property, and they indicated that the documents and permits still didn't match and you would have to wait a bit longer. “Just keep an eye on the site” and it’s dismissed like that... Looks good and fun on social media, but very difficult communication… You put your house up for sale through this real estate agent and potential buyers are not heard. Good luck with the sale then!
