Als internationale student heb ik tijdens mijn verblijf enorm veel hulp en ondersteuning gekregen, waardoor ik me heel gemakkelijk heb kunnen settelen. Een van de beste dingen is hoe rustig en goed onderhouden het gebouw is – perfect om je te concentreren op je studie of om ongestoord een goede nachtrust te krijgen. De locatie is ook fantastisch. De tram- en bushaltes zijn vlakbij en de buurt is veilig en rustig. Bovendien zijn er supermarkten op slechts 10 minuten loopafstand. Ik beveel Xior van harte aan aan iedereen die op zoek is naar een comfortabel en productief studentenleven!

Ik woon hier nu ongeveer 2,5 jaar en het was de ergste ervaring van mijn leven. Er was een dief in het gebouw die constant mijn pakketten stal en ik ben daardoor ongeveer 400 euro kwijtgeraakt. Toen wilde manager Marco me fysiek aanvallen omdat ik de huur niet op tijd betaalde. Iedereen was supergemeen en nep, inclusief de mensen van het kantoor. De wasmachine was al een half jaar kapot en niemand nam de moeite om hem te vervangen. De kamers waren vies en ze lieten me voor veel dingen betalen toen ik moest vertrekken. Kortom, het is allemaal één grote oplichterij en deze mensen maken misbruik van wanhopige studenten voor het geld. Ik zou deze plek niet aanbevelen aan mijn ergste vijand. De trauma's en problemen die ik na mijn verblijf heb gehad, waren enorm. Huur hier alsjeblieft niets.

Mijn verblijf hier was geweldig. De gemeenschappelijke ruimtes waren altijd schoon en ik vond het fijn dat er zowel een wasmachine als een droger beschikbaar waren. Grote teleurstelling. Het kantoor in Den Haag is een totale mislukking. Xior kan geen hogere huur vragen dan de officiële huurprijs van de overheid, daarom rekenen ze veel geld voor "internet, wasgoed, onderhoud, voorschotten", enzovoort. In ruil daarvoor krijg je geen service. Mijn raam in de studio is kapot (wat ze al hadden moeten repareren voordat ik erin trok), ze hebben het al meer dan een maand niet gerepareerd. Er zijn maar drie oude en vuile wasmachines voor twee gebouwen, waarvan er één kapot is. Ik ga hier binnenkort weg. Geloof de goede recensies niet. De enige die zijn werk doet, is de beheerder.
