Service-oriented and inventive. Thinking instead of protocol.

We had Bob Jacobs from Soeteman Makelaars as our buyer's agent and we were very happy with him. The collaboration was pleasant, and the advice was honest and expert. Bob is also willing to be critical when necessary and sometimes even plays devil's advocate – exactly what you need to make a good purchase. Communication always went smoothly with short lines. We received good advice and implemented the right bidding strategy to successfully buy our house. In the current housing market, a buyer's agent is indispensable and I am incredibly glad that we chose Bob from Soeteman. I would definitely recommend this office to everyone!

I would have expected and anticipated better service from this 'NVM real estate agent'/Bob!! He also abused his position quite a bit by, among other things, calling the bank behind my back. I now regret giving him the assignment as much as hairs on my head. A more expert NVM real estate agent would have been much more expert and customer-friendly! In short, I simply had a very bad experience, especially because we/I as the client(s) had nothing to say or contribute. His will was law during the entire purchase and sale process. He did know in which town we had to live and which house would be good for us. Simply unheard of. He also didn't want to cooperate with the open houses day, only under pressure. That was therefore doomed to fail from the start. He also did nothing with the evaluation afterwards; it was just to cover up his own mistakes. He even dared to say/claim at the end that the bid that was made on my apartment was simply too high, and he squandered that while there would have been plenty of interest. He stretched out a lot of time between the purchase and sale. Furthermore, he clearly showed that he wasn't really interested in the assignment! In short, it really wasn’t a pleasant collaboration!
