I strongly advise against this company, especially not to students. People from this company also offer rentals for students. I was one of them. I lived in the house that was incorrectly advertised as a student house. However, there were also non-students present. Even though there was a zero tolerance policy for drugs in the house, these tenants were often under the influence. One of them became repeatedly aggressive. I asked for help several times, but the company never took action. Furthermore, an officer told me, before the contract was signed, that some minor renovations are planned. It had to be quick and I was also promised a sink at the end, so I agreed to the renovation. Unfortunately, the renovation did not end quickly, but lasted for months. During the work, the house was terribly dirty, constantly filled with dust, and one of the windows broke, allowing cold air into the house. I was promised that the extra heating costs caused by this would be compensated, but at the end of my rental contract, the agent backed out and pretended he didn't remember it. Several things in the house broke down, such as a washing machine and a dryer. We also had a leak in the roof. The dryer was never repaired during my rental period; it took months. The same with the leak. We requested a repair, especially because it happened in winter and therefore increased heating costs because the house could not retain heat. Again, we did not receive support, and the roof could only be repaired after weeks and weeks of begging for help. Finally, after I moved out, I had difficulty receiving my deposit back. I received it well past the calculated date. The agent told me that the illness of the agent's sister was the reason why the deposit was not sent. I don’t think it is a professional or legal explanation. My overall rental experience was terrible. I was ignored, the rules were not transparent. For example, I was told that I had to give three months' notice to move out, even though the law states that I am only allowed to give one. There was also a time when one of the agents threatened to deduct half of my deposit due to heating costs. Any extra costs I would obviously pay, but I never received the bills for electricity, heating etc. during my rental period. I'm still just a student; this was my very first experience with renting. I do not recommend the services of this company.
