Het contact met de Makelaar en het secretariaat daarvan verliep prima. Ik kon de Makelaar door de week en indien nodig ook in het weekend benaderen voor vragen ea. Ik werd altijd correct benaderd en te woord gestaan.

Een onacceptabel aantal verborgen gebreken werd aangetroffen in een woning die via deze makelaar was aangekocht, waarvoor absoluut geen verantwoordelijkheid werd genomen. Ten minste een aantal van deze gebreken moet bekend zijn geweest bij de verkoper en de makelaar. Deze gebreken hebben geleid tot tienduizenden euro's aan herstel- en reparatiekosten.

Pay very close attention to homes sold by Huis-o-theek. Pay particular attention to hidden defects, such as - leaking chimneys, gutters and therefore damp walls - leaks that have been painted over (before the viewing) - walls that are wallpapered (before the viewing) to hide honeycomb and leaks. - gardens filled with rubble and other junk - asbestos that has NOT been reported. And when you go for a viewing; DEMAND that you can enter all rooms, including outside. Because there is no key available, you should not be satisfied with just looking at the garden from a distance. The above complaints relate to only 2 houses. There are more complaints from other homeowners.
