Twents Vast

I was looking for an apartment in Enschede a few months before summer. I contacted several real estate agents who reacted very badly, were not transparent and had no respect for their customers. The two ladies from Twents Vast were however completely different. First of all, they show respect for you as a person, with their way of speaking and acting. It was very easy to make a viewing appointment and we rented the apartment that we had seen. There were a few technical problems with the apartment, because it was a bit older. Anne was however very helpful and solved all these problems quickly. She even kept an eye on whether the technician would come or not to fix the problem. Enschede is a student city with many students and limited housing, so renting an apartment is for many people a big challenge and stress. Many real estate agents act as if they are doing you a favor by doing their job, and have no understanding for customer service (read my other review for another agency). I highly recommend Twents Vast to landlords and tenants to work with them, given my positive experience. Addition June 2024: We had to move out of the apartment because the contract was for two years. The experience with the inspection was also pleasant. We left the apartment in good condition. The apartment was very old, so they were not sure if many defects were caused by us, but the video I had just recorded when we moved in two years ago helped a lot. They paid back the deposit directly after we had moved out.

Studio used as temporary living space, fully furnished including refrigerator and use of a washing machine and all the necessities you need to get through the day.

If you're looking for a place to stay for a few months, I recommend this one. I found it very handy and comfortable. It's a small studio, but if you're alone, that's exactly what you need. During my stay, I had no problems anywhere.

The apartment we used was excellent, everything was clean and worked perfectly. They really make sure that everything is well maintained. Compliments to them!

I lived in one of the studios for a total of 6 months due to an internship in the Almelo area and I was very satisfied! The room is large enough for one person, is modern, has a great location and is fully furnished. It's perfect if you need a place to stay for a few months or if you need time to find something for the long term. Moreover, it's directly above a gym, which was a big plus for me. Moreover, I met great people who eventually became good friends. Should there be any small problems, the communication was no problem at all. Carolijn was always very friendly and helped me quickly. I would definitely recommend this place! ☺️ If someone who didn't know anyone came to Almelo, I can say that Twents Vast B.V. made my start very easy.

Excellent and efficient service from this office. Everything is clear and they are always ready for you, regardless of your problems. The locations and furnishings of the rental properties are in good condition. It is undoubtedly an option to consider in the Enschede area!

Very satisfied with the treatment we received from Anne. She was very attentive, clear and helpful in solving any maintenance problems in the apartment and answered our questions about the service. The apartment that we rented was very well located and the furniture was in very good condition.

Due to work in Twente, I rented a studio for a long time on the Wierdensestraat in Almelo. It turned out very well. The layout of the studio is perfect, everything you need is there. If something happens, it's quickly resolved by TwentsVast. Emails and phone calls are responded to very quickly and correctly. Your privacy is respected; if something needs to happen in your studio, permission is always requested. The 'check out' process was also fine. Should I ever have to be in Twente for work again for a longer period of time, I will definitely rent here again.

We huurden ongeveer een jaar lang een studio bij TwentsVast in Almelo. Het was een mooie, compacte en volledig gemeubileerde ruimte. We kregen tijdens ons verblijf alle nodige hulp van Carlijn en Anne. Het in- en uitchecken verliep soepel. Als je de studio echt schoonmaakt bij vertrek, worden er geen kosten in rekening gebracht. In ons geval kregen we de volledige borg terug. Het enige minpuntje aan de studio was dat er geen deurbel was. Daardoor misten we veel pakketjes. Afgezien van dit kleine probleempje hadden we een goede ervaring en ik zou ze zeker aanbevelen.

Ik heb alleen maar positieve dingen te zeggen over dit makelaarskantoor! Ik huurde 26 maanden lang een appartement met twee slaapkamers in Enschede terwijl ik in Almelo werkte en heb nooit problemen gehad. Er was een keer een probleem met de sleutel van de voordeur, maar dat werd snel en efficiënt opgelost nadat ik contact met hen had opgenomen. Ter info: inspecties worden ook uitgevoerd na voorafgaande kennisgeving, maar ook dat verliep vlekkeloos. Gedurende mijn tijd op het adres heb ik verschillende huisgenoten gehad en het was ook geen probleem om het huurcontract op verzoek aan te passen. Al met al was ik tevreden over de geleverde service.

I rented a studio in Almelo via Twents Vast B.V. and I can definitely recommend the office. Affordable, professional service and Carlijn was always reachable and helpful.

Friendly staff, but it was very dirty when we moved in and when we told them that something was broken, their excuse was that it's an old house. The toilet was clogged for a few weeks before they fixed it and we had a very old washing machine that also had some issues. It took a long time before we got help and the machine could be replaced.

No complaints. I stayed there for 6 months due to an internship near Almelo. The company handles everything very professionally, the rooms are well equipped, the location is very strategic, the facilities are good, etc. The rent is reasonably affordable, but considering the size of the room I find it a considerable price for the Netherlands. The communication and transparency are also a big plus. All in all, a pleasant cooperation!

When we first arrived in the Netherlands, we looked for a home with several real estate agencies. Anne and Carljin helped us greatly in finding a home quickly. The process went smoothly and we were able to move in after one day. Checking out also went quickly and easily. We got our deposit back because we left the home in the same condition as when we received it. I would definitely recommend this place.

To begin with - I have no idea where all those negative reviews come from. I don't deny their honesty, but my experience with Twents Vast was just very good. The communication with their real estate agents always went quickly and smoothly, and all the people I had contact with spoke very good English (although that's not a surprise in the Netherlands). I just found them to be professional and nice people. As a student, I rented a house for 5 months on the Esstraat (with two other friends) - reasonably furnished, clean and very practical with a backyard (and shed!). The price was very acceptable - as far as I could see, it didn't really differ from other comparable houses in Enschede, so I also have no complaints about that. As for the other reviews: I didn't have any unexpected visits. It's also worth mentioning that I got my full deposit back. I can recommend that real estate office, because my experience was just problem-free and smooth.

The condition of this room was a nightmare: the cement on the walls was crumbling and other walls were full of holes, which was not according to the contract. The room is made of insulation material, there is an illegal lack of window space and there is no attention whatsoever to fire safety, again illegally. Moreover, Twents Vast claims that nothing is wrong and that I should resolve it with my housemates if I don't find it pleasant. The room is the worst ever and the service is non-existent. Do not rent from this company, they will ruin you.

I have tried on multiple occasions during office hours to visit their office, but there was no one there.

I rented the studio in Wierdensestraat in Almelo and was very happy with it. I am a student at the University of Twente and this was the perfect place for me. The studio was fully furnished and the location was excellent. The train station was across the street and the supermarket was within less than 15 minutes walking distance. This studio is perfect for anyone who works or studies in the area of Almelo, Hengelo and Enschede. As for the communication with the rental company, it went very smoothly, professionally and politely. I did not experience any problems regarding this. The only downside was that the contract lasted only six months and I was in the middle of a semester, but they extended it without any problems for another six months on my request, which was very handy for me, otherwise it would have been a hassle. In short, I am very satisfied with this rental company and would definitely recommend renting through them.

With my fiancé, we rented a studio on the Wierdensestraat in Almelo for about 8 months. The studio was sufficiently furnished for a modern couple to live and relax after a long workday. The manager was friendly and professional in communication and when dealing with any issues with the apartment (such as replacing a lamp). Despite the fact that the floorboards were damaged by the sun and high temperatures in the summer (the room was quite stuffy), the manager had understanding for normal wear and tear in this situation. We would give 5 stars, except that the location of the room and the windows with a view of the nearby train station, especially in the summer (noisy), were quite unpleasant. The rooms on the side of the car park would be much quieter. All in all, I can recommend the studio to any couple or single person looking for temporary accommodation.

The best option if you have to stay in Almelo! They are professional!

De organisatie biedt niet echt hulp wanneer er problemen ontstaan.

Dit is het slechtste verhuurbedrijf waar ik ooit mee te maken heb gehad. De twee dames zijn erg onprofessioneel en spreken niet vriendelijk. Ze proberen je constant geld af te troeven en bij het uitchecken krijg je gegarandeerd niet je volledige borg terug, want ze vinden altijd wel iets. Ik moest meer dan 200 euro betalen omdat ze een schoonmaakbedrijf vijf uur lang hadden ingeschakeld, wat resulteerde in een factuur die ik moest betalen. Het schoonmaakbedrijf dat ze inhuren, zit ook nog eens vlakbij in Enschede. Dat zet je toch aan het denken! Ik schrijf normaal gesproken geen recensies, maar de meeste mensen komen dit soort mensen tegen als ze in Nederland komen en dit is wat ze moeten doorstaan. Het is niet erg gastvrij en erg demotiverend (voor studenten die in Nederland komen studeren). Ik hoop dat ze werken aan hun klantenservice en dat ze aardiger worden tegen de medewerkers. We zijn allemaal mensen die hun best doen om het beter te doen.

Ik heb zes maanden een studio gehuurd. De studio was mooi en schoon. Kleine problemen werden snel opgelost. Ik beveel ze van harte aan!

I only care about money. They don't respect you after they have taken your money and made a contract with them. One day they came into my room while I was sleeping without informing me beforehand, which I think is a violation of the law.

I am very disappointed with the treatment and communication from this company. I always felt abandoned when something happened in a house I shared with three other tenants. Do not expect promises to be kept and remember: if you ever rent a room from them, do not clean it yourself. You will be charged for the cleaning costs anyway. It is a pity that such a beautiful city as Enschede and the stay there are overshadowed by such a terrible experience.

The communication with this company has been disastrous. I always felt they didn't really trust me, even when I strictly followed their rules. There was always a problem of distrust that grew and became mutual as soon as money came into play. I only asked for a clear explanation of the sent invoices, because they sent them standard by post as if you were standing at the butcher's. Come on, say! What I understand by a good rental service is good communication between the parties, honesty, respect, not taking things for granted, and a detailed explanation of the conditions when billing services... Many questions I want to have answered remain unanswered. Maybe it's my fault, but if I rent an apartment, I can't stand miscommunication and dishonesty.

Simpelweg het slechtste verhuurbedrijf dat er is. Ze zijn alleen maar geïnteresseerd in geld en zullen er alles aan doen om te voorkomen dat je je borg terugkrijgt. De "dame" die op de vertrekdatum het huis kwam inspecteren, pakte alle extra borden, pannen, potten, bestek, theepotten etc. uit de kasten en gooide ze op een hoop midden op de vloer. Ze was ongelooflijk onbeleefd en het was overduidelijk dat ze geen greintje van de borg terug wilde betalen, nog voordat ze de voordeur binnenkwam. Je kunt eerlijk gezegd beter dakloos zijn dan met deze oplichters te maken krijgen.

The disgusting behavior of money-hungry criminals who steal deposits from vulnerable students at all costs. They enter your home without prior consent from all tenants and completely dismantle everything by throwing things on the ground. They find any excuse to steal your money, for example a bit of limescale inside the kettle. Stay at all costs away from these scoundrels.

Don't rent anything through this office. They won't help you if you have problems with the landlord or the rented property; the only thing they're after is your money.

This is really a bad housing corporation! They lied to us, said nothing about the costs for months, and suddenly we had to pay a significant amount within a few days. They really don't care about their customers. They are late on the agreed dates and do not reply to your emails. Now we're living in one of their houses, there were problems with the city hall because they hadn't put it in their name with the correct number of people. There are also a lot of problems with the house, which they promise to solve but never do... A lot of things like that. If you have a choice, NEVER CHOOSE THIS COMPANY. It's just misery!
