I would not recommend this real estate agent as a valuer. I had a valuation done which was worthless. Over the phone, an amount is communicated which the house is worth and then there's another amount in the valuation report, because I wasn't in agreement with it over the phone. In the 80 page report (!?) apples are compared to pears. The valuer is nice. But he has given me the feeling that he wants to make money quickly. I eventually paid the invoice with a bad feeling. I have had a bad taste left from it.

Dear Dennis, What a pity that you give such a review. This once again shows how difficult our profession is to understand. It's understandable that as a client you have certain desired values, after all it's your home and you often attach great value to it. That a desired value does not match an appraisal value unfortunately happens more often. Especially if it's an unusual property, a former business house, the value depends on the local situation. There are few people who would want a factory hall of another person in their backyard and this greatly reduces the value. You don't feel this because you now use the whole as one object. As for another value after a phone call, I don't understand you, we always state the value in the final stage of a report, sometimes there can still be a difference here during rechecking, but this is then a very small difference. Regarding making easy money, you have no idea how many hours are in this file and it only causes some dissatisfaction. This also concerns comparing apples with pears, we compare with the best possible properties and these can just like apples and pears have a different shape but they remain fruit. Pity that you didn't approach us directly, I was certainly willing to clarify everything for you, but the value of your beautiful former business house would not have been any different because of that.
