In that time Marco helped me buy a new house and sell my house. Marco is a very involved person, thinks actively along, is super accessible and works openly, flexibly, honestly and transparently. He gave us more information about the area and our options than any other agent, and was generally just very honest about everything. He is also the only agent who does viewings in the evening or on weekends, which was very convenient. He even contacted us when he had another property that he thought would suit us. He definitely has the buyer's interest at heart and is extremely trustworthy. He called us himself when a property we viewed received an offer from someone else so that we might also make an offer. Although we ultimately chose another option, Marco Kems even offered to help ensure everything regarding the paperwork went smoothly. Really, only the best experiences.

And when ours came onto the market, there were still seven others for sale in the same neighborhood. That bothered us quite a bit because it did affect the price. And everything via a Move account is not really our thing, we are from the generation that just still talks about things. Further, a friendly real estate agent but yeah, we did find this a bit of an issue.

25 Dec 2025Review: Disappointing experience with the real estate agent. We had a good conversation about our wishes and expectations, but it became less positive when we started bidding. We were told that it was a gamble and that we probably should outbid. In the end, we made the offer without the real estate agent, and the bid was accepted. After that, we received no further response from the agent, who stated they were 'too busy' without any explanation. This felt unprofessional and poor in terms of communication. All in all, a disappointing experience. We did not feel taken seriously and would not recommend this agent.

08 Dec 2025Very bad experience! Unprofessional, anti-business approach, inability (or unwillingness) to do or follow anything else than their own interests and goals. Very poor communication - always with different people, often not responding to what you write, not reacting to your comments, suggestions, questions. The only answer you get is: it has to be this way, because that's just how it works in the Netherlands - and I later checked with relevant representatives that it is not like that. This company does not understand at all that they only have to follow the buyer and seller agreements, they act as if they themselves would buy or sell. Unfortunately they lie a few times about what is possible or usual. They could easily destroy the deal / ruin it, despite a clear agreement between seller and buyer, just because it doesn't meet their wishes. Fortunately we communicated at the buyer-seller level and finalized the deal. The TOP of the TOP was when the co-owner (!!!) sent a stupid SMS to my son - this was just over the top. Other things could have been mentioned, for example We had agreed to make the last appointment before the notary. We were on time despite living 1.100 km away and the same co-owner was 10 minutes late despite coming from Enschede etc. It's just a disaster to involve this company and I strongly advise against it!

13 Jul 2025I would not recommend this real estate agent as a valuer. I had a valuation done which was worthless. Over the phone, an amount is communicated which the house is worth and then there's another amount in the valuation report, because I wasn't in agreement with it over the phone. In the 80 page report (!?) apples are compared to pears. The valuer is nice. But he has given me the feeling that he wants to make money quickly. I eventually paid the invoice with a bad feeling. I have had a bad taste left from it.

Dear Dennis, What a pity that you give such a review. This once again shows how difficult our profession is to understand. It's understandable that as a client you have certain desired values, after all it's your home and you often attach great value to it. That a desired value does not match an appraisal value unfortunately happens more often. Especially if it's an unusual property, a former business house, the value depends on the local situation. There are few people who would want a factory hall of another person in their backyard and this greatly reduces the value. You don't feel this because you now use the whole as one object. As for another value after a phone call, I don't understand you, we always state the value in the final stage of a report, sometimes there can still be a difference here during rechecking, but this is then a very small difference. Regarding making easy money, you have no idea how many hours are in this file and it only causes some dissatisfaction. This also concerns comparing apples with pears, we compare with the best possible properties and these can just like apples and pears have a different shape but they remain fruit. Pity that you didn't approach us directly, I was certainly willing to clarify everything for you, but the value of your beautiful former business house would not have been any different because of that.
