03 Dec 2024This realtor doesn't even deserve one star!..... We bought our house through this realtor. He was therefore the realtor for the selling party. An appointment was quickly scheduled and we could be seen the next day. He showed us around the house. We had plans to create an office in the front part of the house. For that, an extra door would have to be installed in the hallway. According to this realtor, that wasn't possible because it was a load-bearing wall. Then you would have to have a lintel placed. After purchasing this house, our own investigation revealed that the old panel door was still behind the wall. Shouldn’t a realtor know something like that? After purchasing the house, we discovered there were no residual current devices (RCDs) in the electrical panel. And this is mandatory unless stated beforehand. The realtor even advertises with a 'completely renovated meter cupboard' in his sales brochure! They talk about their extensive experience and knowledge on their website and social media. Then shouldn’t this realtor have seen that too? We had a lot of trouble with this after the purchase. Ultimately, we reached an agreement with the seller. This realtor only forwarded emails to the selling party. We never heard anything personal from him. There was a crack in a window in the kitchen. The realtor himself pointed this out during the tour. It was for the glass insurance, he said. The sellers' glass insurance, we thought. You make sure there is a new window installed when the house is sold. Not here, that was something we had to do ourselves. During the tour, we saw that the sofa in the living room stood on a raised platform. We asked if this platform was loose and would be removed by the sellers. It was also assured that the floor ran under the platform. During inspection, it turned out that one part of this platform had indeed been removed. But the other part remained fixed, and the floor did not run underneath. What poor information. Speaking of inspections. That is the round through the house before you sign with the notary. The realtor rushed over. He dove into the meter cupboard for the meter readings for gas and electricity. We were asked to sign that these readings were correct. Then he hurried on to a next appointment, he was in a hurry. It was a strange moment, both for us and for the selling party. Later with the sale of our own house (with another realtor) it became clear to us that it is normal for a realtor to go to the notary. That's where he is paid! But this realtor was too busy with a new job. This makes everything seem like one big greedy operation. You signed, and that cleared his job for the selling party. This realtor fits the picture..... quick guys and a lot of chatter.

Date unknownWe made an appointment for a viewing of an apartment offered by Jonker in Almelo at the harbor. We were supposed to go and look on December 2nd. On Sunday, December 1st, we were cancelled and a new appointment was to be made. No problem. We were supposed to be called. There was no call. So we had to call ourselves. We were supposed to be called back again. We are still waiting for that, and in the meantime the apartment is already under offer. I find this a very poor work ethic from Jonker Makelaardij. But that shows that things are going too well for the real estate agents these days, and there are ten others for us. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this realtor due to the failure to keep appointments. Very disappointed.

02 Oct 2025I had the pleasure of meeting Mascha during a viewing. On behalf of her clients, she warmly welcomed my mother and me in a pleasant atmosphere. The viewing itself was very nice and professional. This is especially noteworthy given that house viewings can be quite stressful at times. Mascha clearly possesses knowledge and thought along with our wishes and possibilities. Unfortunately, my father could not attend; to this, Mascha mentioned that we could plan a second viewing. I found this extremely pleasant in addition to the nice rapport. During my search, I have yet to encounter an agent who is as considerate and people-oriented as she is. It felt very pleasant having this personal contact, thank you for this.

The house is now sold at a market-compliant price with a better result of € 40,000 than if we had followed Mascha's advice. She advised immediately accepting the first offer and skipping the Funda listing! An incomprehensible piece of advice. We advise no one to use the services of Mascha. She is not trained as a real estate agent, unreliable and incompetent!

You post reviews under a pseudonym or otherwise and you have a family member living in Auckland (New Zealand) place a review, with which we have never been acquainted and/or had contact. That you have a far-reaching right to freedom of expression, we are fully aware of this, but this right is not unlimited. Spreading intentional falsehoods is prohibited and even unlawful. With your personal resentment towards us, you deliberately cause us damage, attack our good name and that causes us tremendous pain and sorrow! With the effort obligation and services provided by us, the transfer of your mother's house could have taken place long ago, with the consent of your sister. Date unknown“The purpose of 'Google Customer Reviews' is to provide users with useful information about companies, products and services and to support consumers in making informed decisions based on the experiences of others.” We feel compelled to respond to the message that Mascha Zonder of Bijzonder Makelaars recently posted about us on Google, in which she accuses us of not engaging in dialogue. Before we terminated our collaboration with her, we submitted several complaints to her that were never addressed. Ultimately, we shared our experiences in a number of Google reviews; each time this was followed by a response, but never substantive and never directly from herself. First, there was a reaction from her partner, who put pressure on us to remove the review. (this partner also posted a positive review themselves) Subsequently, we received a letter from van Veen lawyers in Ede (see our review of that office) on behalf of Ms. Zonder with various accusations and a summons not to post reviews. Our extensive, well-supported response to this was dismissed with: 'I disagree with everything, but I have no desire to address it.' When we proposed opening an escrow account with the notary of her choice, where she had placed our belongings, there was no reaction whatsoever – neither from her nor from the notary (see also our review there). Also, VastgoedPro, the industry organization to which she is affiliated, did not respond to our request for explanation about her trademark use. To our surprise, we were recently called by the police in Almelo regarding a possible report related to our reviews. This while we have shared a complete file with her lawyer, which has never been refuted. It appears that the police were approached without sharing this information with them. Finally, Ms. Zonder dismisses our damages as 'only' €13.454,- and attributes this to inflation, price increases and an 'overheated housing market'. She forgets that, against her advice, we had to insist on selling via Funda instead of immediately accepting the first offer. Had we followed her advice, the damage would have been approximately €40.000,-. We write this review not out of personal spite, but to give others an objective picture of how this real estate agent functions. We believe it is important to warn against the unprofessional conduct of Mascha Zonder: she does not communicate professionally or at all, avoids responsibility and tries to shift her own shortcomings onto her clients. Moreover, she would have caused us significant financial damage of approximately €40.000,- had we followed her advice. Absolutely not recommended. From the previous review: 'BijZonder makelaars has failed to demonstrate the ability to guide the sale of our family home on Tijhofslaan in a businesslike manner. Despite the considerable interest in the property, she repeatedly tried to rip us off. Instead of communicating properly, she does not shy away from spreading false information and putting pressure on us. We still do not have our house key and building plans back, so we cannot pay the start-up costs invoice. Her lawyer is now also threatening extrajudicial collection costs and interest. Because we hear nothing more from her or her lawyer, we are now considering filing a complaint with the Disciplinary Committee of Real Estate Professionals to protect others from this kind of abuse.'

Date unknownOur experience with Mascha Zonder has been particularly bad. She provided us with no information whatsoever about the bidding process nor offered any options, although the rules of conduct of VastgoedPro (a qualitatively inferior variant of the NVM) prescribe this. She even left our emails with questions regarding this unanswered. Because a bid had already been made before the house was listed on Funda, she tried to motivate us to accept that first bid without listing the house on Funda. Later we received a much higher offer! When we asked if there were any more interested parties, both Mascha and her colleague denied this, while indeed a further viewing had been requested. Both admitted this afterwards without explanation or apology. VastgoedPro took no action when we reported this. Mascha is therefore a member of VastgoedPro without adhering to their rules. When we withdrew the assignment, Mascha refused to remove the property from Funda (we had to involve Funda for this!) and still has not returned our keys and building plans, preventing us from fulfilling the start-up costs. Mascha Zonder exploits the inexperience of sellers. Under the guise of 'personal' (and even 'sincere') and by having potential buyers write their motivations along with their bids, she tries to expedite the sale so that she can benefit as quickly as possible. A VastgoedPro real estate agent is therefore not a guarantee of quality. Mascha Zonder is certainly not recommended. (This is only a short listing of our negative experiences with her.)

Unfortunately, despite repeated requests and your commitment, your payment obligation remains outstanding. That you now share your dissatisfaction and one-sided way of thinking via this review is incomprehensible and inappropriate for us. Do you want to continue endlessly through this channel…. It would become you, as we have already offered and shown you by calling you this afternoon, to engage in a dialogue and not do so through this means.”
