12 Jul 2025Review: Unprofessional and discriminatory conduct by realtor Patrick My experience with realtor Patrick has been frankly shocking. First assigning a house and then half an hour later, stating that it was no longer the case. Because he indicates that his feeling doesn't feel right. What feeling? If a buyer is willing to pay, through any bank whatsoever. As if this is a bank from Germany, where certainly 30% of Dutch people are customers. Then this shouldn’t raise question marks? The most worrying thing is that there was clearly unequal treatment. Another buyer was openly favored, while my offer was significantly higher – we're talking about comfortably tens of thousands of euros difference. See photo for proof. This raises serious questions about integrity and motives. Moreover, I strongly got the impression that origin and ethnicity played a role in this, which is absolutely unacceptable and contrary to every professional and ethical standard. This real estate agency inspires no confidence at all and, in my opinion, should be subject to inspection or investigation by legislative bodies. Everyone deserves a fair chance in the housing market – without prejudice, without backroom deals. Also called about this with the real estate agency. But they play it on personal favor. And furthermore, the owner of this real estate agency did not want to give any further explanation. And also didn’t want to critically examine the situation. My tip to you 'Treat a person as you would like to be treated yourself'. This is not a way of doing business, frankly regrettable and not even worth a star.

24 Sep 2025Jammer genoeg een zeer slechte ervaring met Weghorst Makelaardij. Vanaf de start liep het mis: na de taxatie in december 2024 volgde geen enkel vervolggesprek om onze woning goed te leren kennen of een verkoopstrategie te bepalen. Terwijl andere makelaars met tips, adviezen en soms zelfs stylisten werken, werd bij Weghorst direct begonnen met bezichtigingen. De begeleiding was rommelig: na de eerste bezichtiging werd de verkoop zonder overleg overgedragen aan een collega die ons huis niet eens kende. Vier maanden later leek er een serieus bod te liggen, maar de koopovereenkomst is nooit ondertekend. Zowel wij als de kopers kregen wekenlang geen informatie. Pas toen ik zelf contact zocht, hoorde ik dat de kopers al waren afgehaakt omdat ze niets meer van de makelaar vernamen en nooit een overeenkomst hadden ontvangen. Ondanks zo’n 40 bezichtigingen hebben we uiteindelijk afscheid genomen van Weghorst. Achteraf bleek dat zelfs geïnteresseerden zijn afgewezen omdat er “al een gegadigde” zou zijn – terwijl de verkoop helemaal niet rond was. Tot slot: ook de huidige kopers van onze woning deden via Weghorst een taxatie. Die opdracht lag er al 3 weken, maar ik werd pas gisteren voor het eerst gebeld. Dit veroorzaakt nu opnieuw vertraging. Kortom: van begin tot eind een grote teleurstelling. In een markt die juist kansen biedt, is dit voor ons een regelrechte ramp geweest.

Bovenstaande omschrijving, is inderdaad maar 1 ster waard. Onze kijk is er echter totaal anders op, dit hebben we ook uitgesproken. Met betrekking tot de taxatie, de opdracht lag zeker niet zolang bij ons, en de taxatie is binnen 1 dag uitgevoerd en gereed gemeld zodat u uw woning alsnog verkocht heeft. Wij wensen u alle woongeluk in uw nieuwe woning straks.

Date unknownMisleiding en misbruik vals short stay huurcontract Deze makelaar heeft mij als huurder misleid met een onrechtmatig 'short stay' huurcontract. Hiermee maakt de makelaar misbruik van een vals "short stay' contract(naam), om onder de nieuwe wet vaste huurcontracten van 1 juli 2024 uit te komen. (dit wordt massaal door verhuurders gedaan sinds de invoering van de wet en deze makelaar werkt blijkbaar hieraan mee samen met de verhuurder. Dit is zeer onbehoorlijk gedrag. Makelaars moeten op de hoogte zijn van de actuele huurwetten, omdat deze complex en regelmatig veranderend zijn. Kennis hiervan is cruciaal om te voldoen aan de geldende wet- en regelgeving en om problemen te voorkomen. Deze makelaar heeft hiermee zijn zorgplicht geschonden naar mij als huurder en na het indienen van een klacht hierover, willen ze plots mijn contract over één maand beëindigen(!) zonder geldige reden. Dit is natuurlijk nietig. Opzegging moet voldoen aan de wettelijke eisen, maar blijkbaar weet deze makelaar dat ook al niet. (of dit is hun werkwijze) Ze hebben duidelijk niet voldoende kennis van zaken en zijn niet op de hoogte van de actuele (huur) wetten. Tevens geven ze weinig om het recht of belang van de huurder. In plaats van professioneel oplossen zoals het hoort volgens de nieuwe wet én recente jurisprudentie (van de Hoge Raad over het misbruik van valse 'short stay' contracten), kiezen ze ervoor om de klacht niet serieus te nemen met als gevolg een dure advocaat en rechtszaak. Ik dacht juist dat ik beschermd zou zijn omdat het via een 'NVM makelaar' ging, maar nu blijkt dit niet het geval. Ik ben genoodzaakt van deze onbehoorlijke misstanden een melding te maken bij de tuchtraad/ commissie van de NVM. Dit mag simpelweg niet. De rechters zijn er duidelijk over, maar ook hier heeft deze makelaar blijkbaar lak aan. NVM makelaars dienen zich te houden aan de NVM Erecode, echter is dit in mijn geval compleet geschonden; - deskundigheid is ver te zoeken bij deze makelaar en ze kiezen overduidelijk partij voor de verhuurder - deze misleidende situatie is allesbehalve rechtvaardig of respectvol voor mij als huurder - duidelijkheid en transparantie ontbreekt in mijn geval ze hebben zich niet aan afspraken gehouden en waren/zijn niet eerlijk - hun e-mail over het beëindigen van mijn contract is niet bevorderend voor de situatie en/of contact - nemen klacht niet serieus en zoeken geen oplossing Zeer zorgwekkend dat deze zogenaamde NVM makelaar zich zo onbehoorlijk gedraagt. Dit was de eerste keer dat ik een woning ging huren, de woningmarkt is al een enorme bende met absurde huurprijzen en dan krijg ik ook nog eens dit erbij. (heb hier ook niet om gevraagd, maar ben er per toeval achtergekomen. Er is ook gebleken dat ik teveel per maand betaal en inmiddels al €2300,- teveel heb betaald!) Het is een enorme puinhoop. Deze makelaar denkt geen moment na over hoe dit voor mij moet zijn als huurder en focust zich volledig op zichzelf en de verhuurder te redden uit deze situatie. Hun eerste reactie is dus om de gedupeerde huurder eruit te werken. Ik ben zeer teleurgesteld en boos, hun acties en gedrag spreekt voor zich.
