FATHER REAL ESTATE AGENCY VERY ARROGANT, STRESSFUL AND DISAPPOINTING . Had an intake meeting with Colin who works part-time for Father real estate agency . A very amiable person who has his own Appraisal bureau TO WIT Touw Taxaties B.V. Colin assessed my property according to the correct standards that are established by industry organizations Real Estate when assuming a house to be put up for sale . A disastrous brokerage agreement was presented to us.** We thought that Mr. Colin would handle the sale for us but no, the sale was further managed by Erik Jan Vader, the founder and director of the real estate agency . This Erik Jan BOASTED that he had filled entire villages with houses through his sales and introduced himself as your Messenger. We had to note that strange people were walking through our house without being accompanied by the realtor Erik Jan during viewings. He remained quietly in the living room and walked around with a mobile phone in hand. ( we also later heard from others that ,that is his way of presenting property / was. With Erik Jan, we had agreed that we would not go below the asking price and yet he repeatedly came back with bids well below that. From this, we realized more than once that Erik Jan, director of the real estate agency and our messenger, did not really work for us and was more focused on quickly receiving his realtor commission. He also kept us sellers on a string to the benefit of a couple who were both going through divorces. One expected a court order and could only act afterwards. Meanwhile, potential other buyers may have been held back from the market . And our house remained on the market with the real estate agency for more than 3 months. This was exceptionally abnormal as houses in the neighborhood are usually sold within 6 weeks . The damage was done this harmed our sales position . Colin, the freelancer of the real estate agency himself, saw our dissatisfaction with the situation and then took over the sale himself. There is nothing to complain about the freelancer Colin, he worked as it should . But too late for us, he came now. Enough of the dominance and arrogance we decided to send Father Real Estate Agency on its way . The key was returned to us by the secretary of the office who was driven to us by the realtor Erik Jan. He did not say a personal goodbye to us Arrogance at its peak . He had also never made time for my partner by phone . After sending this real estate agency on its way, we were charged with the so-called actual costs but without proof of those costs . Therefore there is no transparency in this regard. We had previously pointed out to the real estate agency during signing of the brokerage agreement the need for more transparency , but there was no response. Also, not really brochures were made and you can print these yourself via the link that was sent to us . We ourselves had professionally designed brochures created by a professional printer in Hoogerheide at 8.50 euro per brochure . Oh yes, the brochure of the property we also took care of the text ourselves. The text presented to us by the real estate agency as a draft was terribly bad. Also, the brokerage agreement stated that they worked with Jaap.nl but that had long ceased to exist ULTIMATELY we sold the house ourselves to a curious passerby . We advise everyone to go to Makelaarsland they work fantastic and is very cheap . We have experienced this when purchasing our new home elsewhere in this country. In short now : DO NOT GO WITH THE REAL ESTATE AGENT FATHER REAL ESTATE AGENCY , unless you want to enter the worst stress period of your life. The real estate agency has been around for a long time in the region but is clearly on its way out.

My dream house/renovation project was for sale at Vader Makelaardij. I showed my interest through the contact form, after which I was quickly called back and an appointment was made for a viewing. I thought this could possibly become my new palace. How, in this overheated housing buying and selling time, the process worked, I didn't know exactly. Procedures were explained step by step, which is very important and easy for a novice. This resulted in me now being the proud owner. Thank you

I had a very unpleasant experience with this real estate agent. During the viewing, the agent acted distantly and pretended to be a substitute. He thought I wasn't from around here but I knew he was the owner of the brokerage office. It created the impression that he consciously adopted a different attitude in order to compensate for the lack of information and involvement during the viewing. He didn’t walk through the house, couldn’t answer any substantive questions, and imposed clear restrictions: no photos were allowed, not even of the toilet, and opening doors was not permitted. The atmosphere was rushed and intrusive, with a strong emphasis on speed instead of carefulness. I also found the way of working around the bidding process far from transparent. Several times I had to chase after basic information myself, and by phone, a strong impression was given that there were already many bids. Ultimately, it turned out that only one other bid had been submitted. This creates the impression that buyers are unnecessarily pressured to bid higher — something that may be beneficial for sellers, but is downright annoying for buyers. What struck me most is that this way of working strongly deviates from the experiences I have had with other real estate agents in the region, where honesty, openness and respectful communication are a matter of course. Finally, I think it’s important to mention that in the bid log, the full names of both buyer and bidder were listed. That seems to me to be in conflict with AVG legislation and simply shouldn't happen. Sharing personal data in this way should really be taken seriously.

Very disappointing experience with Vader Makelaardij – absolutely not recommended Our first house (unfortunately) purchased through Jan-Kees Vader. Buying a house should be an important point in your life and also bring something festive, but thanks to Jan-Kees it became a nightmare for us. Our experience with Vader Makelaardij as buyers was downright disappointing. From the beginning we were poorly received by Jan-Kees and did not receive sufficient guidance during the purchase process. Several appointments were made, but these were regularly not kept. When we inquired about this, excuses and lame excuses followed instead of a professional approach. The low point was that we ultimately had to involve the Vereniging van Eigen Huis (Homeowners Association), because Vader Makelaardij refused to provide certain essential documents. Only after intervention by the Vereniging van Eigen Huis, which fully supported us, were these documents provided. Until then, communication from Vader Makelaardij remained largely absent, causing us as buyers to be in uncertainty and even jeopardized the sale. This approach demonstrates a lack of professionalism and reliability. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Vader Makelaardij.

In 1992 FATHER sold our first home, with knowledge regarding. In 2019 this real estate agent sold our current home again, with the same knowledge and even more experience. Keeps appointments, and doesn't beat around the bush. Gives you sound advice about expectation deadlines and prospective buyers. In short, with this real estate agent you have no hassle, and can relax while looking forward to a transparent collaboration.

As a king on his throne, it seems that the world revolves around Mr. Father. We apparently had a difficult-to-sell house, but in my opinion, the realtor could have done more. Good photos were taken, but a floor plan of the property was never placed. Fortunately, we could go elsewhere for questions because you don't learn much from Father. That is strange because we were indeed a paying customer. The final buyer also indicated to us that they were not entirely satisfied with the viewing and the course of events during the purchase. Furthermore, it will certainly not be the intention of Mr. Father, but he comes across as very 'gruff'. I can imagine that this could be experienced as intimidating by some people.

Jan Kees or Kees Jan is by far one of the biggest smooth talkers and swindlers I have ever experienced. Is only my opinion and not a fact. A sold-off endowment policy? He knows everything about it, that's my opinion. Never do business with this shop. It’s bad for your own future.

Never been treated so rudely! When I asked about a specific property, I received an answer of two words without any greeting or closing. I then inquired if there were other options and was brushed off in a similar manner. Communication at elementary school level!
