We are very satisfied with Volkerts Makelaardij. Richard guided us through a very short time frame in the purchase of the new home and the sale of our current home. He is adequate, easily reachable and does what he says. His "it is what it is" mindset we find very pleasant: honest, clear and without making things prettier than they are. In addition, he switches quickly and communicates clearly. All in all a nice real estate agent to work with and certainly a recommendation!

Although this broker seems sympathetic and reliable, he is deceitful and fools you where you stand. We bought a house where he was the selling broker. Be sure to read the preliminary purchase agreement carefully; what he says and what later appears in the contract does not necessarily have to be the same. Later, he will remember things less well. It's a disgrace that this broker is affiliated with the NVM.

Definitely worth working with. The long version: How incredibly happy we are that we chose Volkerts Makelaardij. When we met Richard 4 years ago during a viewing, we hoped he would have THE house for us. Unfortunately, this turned out not to be the case at the time. So we said to each other if we ever sell, we will approach him. And certainly no regrets! Honest, knowledge, skill, up-to-date on the market, well-founded and not some simple uninterested salesman. And that's just about the profession of realtor. Then there’s also the social aspect like being involved and incredibly good humor. Where, in our search for a new home, we have met realtors who show absolutely no interest, assume that the house will sell itself and even name amounts during negotiations. Richard is totally different. This is the realtor who simply understands his craft. So all in all: are you looking for a good realtor? Stop here and invite this man. In our experience, you can't regret it.

We are very disappointed with Richard Volkerts Real Estate Agency. There were absolutely no tips or ideas from his side on how we could sell our house better, everything had to come from our side. Due to his lack of expertise, sales talent and unreliability, our beautiful house was not sold! Appointments that are not kept and a complete lack of willingness on his part to do his utmost to get our beautiful house sold. We were also supposed to receive a code from the photo website to be able to view and save our photos, which we never received either. He also made our house a 'top house' without mentioning that costs were involved, and he even dared to send us an invoice for it after the withdrawal, while we had already paid for 1 year while he was only in sales for 10 months. If we ever put our house back on the market, it certainly won't be through Richard Volkerts Real Estate Agency!

We put our apartment up for sale in the most difficult time to sell a house, and apartments were practically unsellable. Unfortunately, we had to experience that too, and our apartment on Hoofdstraat was for sale for about 3 years. And that certainly wasn't fun at the end with 2 kids. But Richard always remained optimistic and hopeful. I still don’t understand where he got the patience from. We often called him and he always answered patiently and understandingly. Nothing was ever rushed, but there was always time for us. Sometimes we felt like we were his only clients. :-) We also regularly adjusted our photos and text and that was never a problem. Within no-time the changes were online. When we turned out to have a 'buyer', they dropped out at the last moment. Richard personally came to tell us this. Not via the phone, but he came by. That gave a good and familiar feeling. Due to circumstances, we had to temporarily take the house off the market, but when it went back on sale, we didn’t even hesitate to go back to Richard. I think that says everything. Also the fact that he does almost everything himself, we found very pleasant. This way you get good 1-on-1 contact and that makes the business side of selling your home a little more personal, which is nice. So: do you want a reliable, friendly, patient, cheerful and collaborative real estate agent? Then go to Richard Volkerts!!

We haven't regretted this decision for even a second since the very first introduction! Richard is correct, clear, honest but above all a really nice and accessible real estate agent. He does what he says and says what he does! We didn’t have to arrange anything ourselves! What a difference with our previous real estate agent!
