Ik was een internationale student die in het studiejaar 2022-2023 ongeveer 9 maanden in het huis verbleef. Tot nu toe had ik niet echt de tijd en capaciteit om een recensie te schrijven. Het was een behoorlijk vreselijke ervaring, die begon vanaf de eerste dag dat we hier kwamen wonen. Toen ik er kwam wonen, was de keuken een puinhoop (ik heb een video bijgevoegd van de keuken op het moment dat ik het huis binnenstapte). Er lagen vol lege flessen, en kruimels en vlekken etc. op het aanrecht. Vuilnisbakken in de achtertuin waren behoorlijk vol. Naast de vuilnisbakken lag afval opgestapeld. Het kostte een van mijn huisgenoten en ik 4 uur om de keuken op te ruimen. We konden het afvalinzamelingsschema niet volgen, omdat er afval van de laatste huurders achterbleef. In de achtertuin stonden 2 achtergelaten containers die door de autoriteiten niet langer werden geaccepteerd voor afvalinzameling. Ik kreeg van Omrin te horen dat die containers al een jaar niet meer geaccepteerd werden. Die containers zaten nog steeds vol met afval toen ik hier kwam wonen en een afspraak met Omrin had gemaakt om ze op te halen. Tijdens mijn verblijf heb ik een paar keer contact moeten opnemen met de makelaar, Robert, maar meestal kreeg ik trage reacties van hem, soms reageerde hij niet eens op mijn e-mails. Langzaam als in een week of twee. Ik herinnerde me soms mijn huisgenoten en ik vroeg hem toevallig hetzelfde, en hij antwoordde op mijn huisgenoten behalve op mij. Ik kreeg geen reactie van hem nadat ik meerdere e-mails op verschillende tijdstippen had verzonden. Toen ik eenmaal was verhuisd, zei ik tegen hem dat hij een brief voor me moest bewaren omdat het belangrijk was, en ik was op dat moment niet in Nederland. Ik vroeg of hij mij een contactpersoon kon verwijzen van wie in dat huis woont, zodat ik rechtstreeks met hen kan praten over het ophalen van mijn brief. Hij vertelde me dat hij het voor mij mocht bewaren, maar na een tijdje vertelde hij me dat ik gewoon aan de deur kon bellen en om de brief kon vragen. Ik stond een paar keer aan de deur tot er iemand thuis was. Alles werd echter opgehelderd en er was geen teken van mijn brief. Eerlijk gezegd is dit niet het grootste probleem. Het is echter nog steeds een voorbeeld van hoe onverantwoordelijk een agent kan zijn. Het ergste voor mij in deze situatie is dat onze aanbetaling zonder legitieme reden is afgeschreven. Zoals hierboven vermeld, lag het huis vol met afval op de dag dat we er kwamen wonen. We konden de containers niet leegmaken op de dag dat we verhuisden, en het is niet onze verantwoordelijkheid om dat te doen als ze achterblijven. Blijkbaar dacht Robert er niet zo over. Ik betaalde €385 als borg, en hij gaf mij €274,12 terug. Ik heb om de rekening gevraagd om te controleren of we meer g/w/e hebben verbruikt dan we hebben betaald, maar hij heeft mij niet de exacte rekening gestuurd. Ik stuurde hem meerdere e-mails met het verzoek om er één te krijgen, maar hij bleef maar uitwijken om de documenten te verstrekken. Ik vroeg hem waarom de borg werd afgetrokken en hij zei dat hij moest betalen voor het opruimen van het afval. Ach, neem me niet kwalijk, waarom was het huis dan zo'n puinhoop toen we er kwamen wonen? Het is bijna een jaar geleden dat dit is gebeurd, maar het werkte nog steeds op mijn zenuwen. Ik heb onze screenshots van ons gesprek op WhatsApp bijgevoegd. Toen ik hem de video stuurde die ik had gemaakt toen ik daar aankwam, en ook de video die bij deze opmerking was gevoegd, beweerde hij dat het niet waar is, en stuurde me vervolgens een screenshot van de video die hij in juni voor het huis had gemaakt, toen hij me de video liet zien tijdens een huisbezoek. Hij beweerde dat de foto liet zien hoe het huis was op de dag dat we er kwamen wonen. Dat is vrijwel onzin. Kerel probeerde niet eens de opnamedatum te verslaan. Ik trok er in op 31/8/2022, hij liet me een screenshot zien van een video die hij in juni/2022 maakte, waarin hij zei dat dit precies de status is van het huis toen we er introkken. Dit is DE SLECHTSTE huurervaring in mijn leven geweest. Ik heb wat juridisch advies geraadpleegd en ze zeiden dat het contract erg lastig was. Sommige artikelen werden verwijderd, maar bleven onheilspellend. De adviseur zei ook dat hij wist dat we niet zouden betalen voor de juridische dienst om hem aan te klagen, omdat dit meer zou kosten dan het bedrag dat we verloren hadden.
